    Again... ugh.

    Ugh.

    Matteo Darmian

Was trying to find a youtube compilation for people who aren't familiar with him, but couldn't really find any. Found one of his performance against England though:

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

Yeah, it's well documented I don't like CR (even besides the fact that he's played for two of my most hated clubs), and I think Messi at his best is better than CR at his best, but if someone thinks CR is better, just let them... just like Pele vs Maradona, some think Pele was better and some...

    Matteo Darmian

Yep, even if it's Bojan + cash, I'd do it. Torino aren't in a position to demand a ton of money either. Immobile only went for 19m (and half of that went to Juve) and he was their star forward.

Not sure if he'll stay on until then, earlier they were saying if he took the job it will just be a caretaker role and they'll appoint someone else before 2016. Not sure if that's still the assumption. If Juve fail again in Europe this season he might end up losing both jobs anyway.

Sky Italia are saying the new frontrunner for the job is Conte... he'd remain at Juve and just coach the Azzurri part time. Similar to Hiddink with Russia and Chelsea. Not sure if that's such a good move, but at least he's familiar with some of the core players.

    Matteo Darmian

Rude. :( Was the bite reference intentional? :VdB:

    Jordi Masip

Yeah... while Bravo has seemed to have proven to be a fine acquisition, I still wish we would have given more faith in our own. I maintain Masip would hold up fine in CdR and against smaller La Liga teams.

    Miralem Pjanic

I agree he isn't world class yet, but I'll stick my neck out for him and say he probably will be in a couple years.

    Matteo Darmian

What's that supposed to mean? :p
  13. XaviMessiGirl

    Matteo Darmian

I agree he could, but if Montoya is to get a look in as well there might have to be some rotation involved. Since Darmian can play 3 positions, he can still get plenty of game time. Also depends on whether Alves leaves or not.

    Matteo Darmian

Name: Matteo Darmian Date of Birth: 2nd December 1989 Nationality: Italian Club: Torino Position: RB/LB, CB Just had his breakout season and he was one of the few standout players in the Italian side this WC. We've been linked with him for a couple days now, and now that Torino reportedly show...

    Barça's Transfers and Rumors

So apparently Bojan wants to go to Torino, and we might swap him with Darmian. It's in Tuttosport, I normally wouldn't even wipe my ass with that paper, but it's based in Torino so they might have a little credibility in this case. Or maybe I'm just being hopeful. :p

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

Strictly on a matter of football skills, the difference definitely isn't as big as you put it.
  17. XaviMessiGirl

    Would you sign Luis Suarez?

It's not only a question of "morality" though. He's banned for the first two months, and if he does something again he'll just keep getting banned for even longer each time. That hurts a club, whichever one he'll be at next season.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

No, it's cos Immobile is worth 200m, not 100m. :VdB:

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

People actually saying they don't care if he bites or punches people or anything as long as he scores goals... can't believe what I'm reading. I can understand the logic of some wanting him at Barca, but not ones with that mentality. This "win at all costs" stuff is ridiculous.

Antonio Cabrini is the latest name. Also, Francesco Guidolin if he can be convinced out of retirement. So basically, anyone Italian with a coaching license is a possibility. :p Cannavaro's agent also made some comments today, saying Fabio would be honored but there's not much to it yet.
