Yet another non-apology apology. He made it more about himself than about the injury to Neymar. It's like when people say "sorry you were offended" when they hurt someone's feelings, instead of saying "sorry I offended you". Huge pet peeve of mine.

He's definitely not a bad player, just overrated. And ThwiX makes it worse. :p

I think that much is clear that he intentionally tried to bring down Neymar, there's not really anything to say to argue against that. It's less clear whether or not he meant to injure, especially in that manner. He should definitely be punished though, but 8 months would be excessive IMO...

I would guess based on what we know that he might suffer from PTSD with flashbacks. And it's not necessarily a medication he would get, but regular therapy. Similar to what some soldiers have to get when they return from combat. Obviously our club aren't full of angels like some suggest, but...

There was a rumor he would but he hasn't signed for anywhere, and no one has made an actual bid for him either as far as I know. He was in LA before the WC so people thought he would sign for the Galaxy, but nothing happened.

Don't think it ever will. Not with the popularity of other sports like American football, basketball, baseball. But I'm hoping there's at least a noticeable increase this time, rather than people just liking it for a month and then forgetting about it like usual.
