I'm torn about it. On his day of course he's still world class, but continuing to play for both club and country at this age will only get increasingly difficult. If he struggles, it would have been better for him to have retired while the memories of his final performances were still great ones.

He just said he's still available for the national team if he's wanted... guess he changed his mind about retiring after the WC.

The number 70,000 on its own isn't bad, especially considering so many stadiums can't even seat that many fans. However, when you think about how there could and should be even more (are there still 87,000 season ticket holders this season?) but there aren't because of non-matchgoers who won't...

He would certainly fit Barca like a glove, especially in a couple years. But from Inter's perspective, getting rid of him would probably be the worst decision since selling Pirlo to Milan.

I'll say 8 for now, but as the season progresses that could change. Rakitic has seemed to fit in well so far, Mathieu has also done better than I thought he would, Bravo has been mixed so far but it's still early days. With three players still yet to really be seen, I'll be the judge of them...
