We gassed out again at 20min. After that Chelsea had chance after chance(luckily offsides). When the press breaks it's very easy to get chances. We need to stop pressing so much, if we can't do it the whole half time. The other 25min is just survival.

This team isn't fit enough to play flickball from last season. That's the truth. Stop doing it.

He's too dogmatic with his approach. Needs to be more flexible with his tactics. It's obvious the players especially the defenders are not good enough to play the way he wants them to. So the best approach is to find a solution that suits them, especially in games like these.

Ferran was atrocious on the ball, Lewa was a passenger off the ball

Essentially playing a man down both in attack and defense.

As soon as both Rashford and Raphina are fit, I don't wanna see either of them in the XI

According to the Catalan TMZ, SPORT, Flick is already leaving summer 2026.

We outplayed Chelsea in the first 20 mins, then the first half shifted to Chelsea attacking. Such episodes are typical between equal teams.

Ferran's miss was key and then Araujo's red buried us. If we were 11 vs. 11, it was a different game.

People need to lay off the manager this time. He played it how he should have. No errors at all. This wasn't like the PSG game. We just got beat by having multiple players produce individual stinkers because they are out of their depth.

Simple as that. High line wasn't even that high. Sometimes you have to adapt expectations and ease off on the manager and accept we are in one of our weaker periods in the club's modern history.

Ferran was shite but isnt a starter when all fit.

Lewa is wasting far more money and same issues with him at CF as ever v teams that press high.

He was a complete non entity.

Please explain to me how subpar buildup, mediocre pressing don't influence a perfomance. Seriously. How are these the standards man, I do not understand, this Chelsea team is not good. We managed to make Pedro Neto look threatening bro, explain

I don't think it was that onesided in the 1st half. Torres chance was biggest chance until the red.

Torres and Araujo fucked us. When you play like we do, you simply assume players can carry their weight. It's like a chain. Only as strong as the weakest links.

Chelsea were causing us many problems at the back, but we were causing them too.
It was balanced before the red

His stubbornness is going to lead to our assets being devalued. His strategy worked last season because we had the element of surprise, we had good luck with injuries, starting 11 was in form and we had inigo. None of those is true this season. Kind of feel bad for our defenders because they are pretty much being sacrificed here. Not saying they are perfect, far from it but this approach gives them no chance at all. In fact it reflects even more poorly on our attackers if you think about it. We are pretty much doing everything we can to stack the deck in their favor and they still can't score. Squad needs to change for his needs with massive investment or he needs to adapt to what we have at the moment which is a good first 11, an average squad and a few gems here and there.
