Yes, they definitely were dumb goals.
You are absolutely right and I 100% mean it.
I was just saying it in general terms. The general terms in Flick's matrix of success do not have much room for defensive concerns. All aspects of it have a secondary importance. Focusing too much on ANY defensive tasks would instill an undesirable mindset in the team. The mindset is to be ultra offensive and compensate for all defensive deficiencies. That's how I read Flick's philosophy.
