As said in the game thread people will jump on him now, and usual suspects will have a field day going dramatic

But players are first and foremost responsible for this loss

Those who have a clear and obvious agenda against him, but come back to sucking his cock when he has team performing at top, as posters above... will now probably turn against him for some time because they don't care about the responsibility. Easier to jump on Flick and praise all the other managers out there

Lost and was outcoached in all big games so far this season.

What's interesting about him is that this is now his fourth managerial post, and in all of them, when all things were equal, he's been found out due to his inability or refusal to organize a defense.

However, the one time where everything clearly wasn't equal, where we had COVID and winning was more a matter of who was most prepared than anything else real, that's the thing that is held up as proving he's some kind of maverick genius.

Meanwhile, we have four jobs that show he needs to be more situationally aware and organize a defense.

I've see you here for a while now defending Flick and truly I commend your efforts to look the other way at a burning car crash, but at this point it's just being asinine. If we start playing better it'll be because Flick changed something, which ultimately is the point of criticizing him. Such a stupid way to defend him

The highline is a cop out for an inability to coach a simple midblock when a man to man press, which has forever ago been shown to be unsustainable, ultimately fails.

At this point you have to just ignore all post by monte on flick, he can literally do no wrong.

DonAK put it best, yes we have issues with personnel, but flicks tactic is making it worse, when we need him the most.

All in all the league though.

Sucidal highline with bad intensity and pressing up front is not a good idea.

Just the last game you were praising Flick for changing his approach and adapting high line

I'm not the kind who changes opinions every week and changes narratives based on final result of every game

If Ferran scored the easy chance in first half here, you would probably be praising Flick now for how well he adapted. Or if Kounde didn't score an own goal, or if Araujo didn't get a red card

There are matches where the players completely fuck up everything coach's been building. This is that match

No I wasn't stop making things up, go to my account, I haven't posted here in a while. I made my feelings known ever since the Newcastle game and never wavered since, a good perfomance with Flick doesn't mean issues suddenly dissappear. You say you're not the kind to change opinions every week but surely you recognize that being that dogmatic to keep said opinion, you have to ignore the ever ephemeral concept of REALITY. Every problem I have with Flick I have detailed on my account, as the games go by they remain. It's so easy to blame players and yes they have a part to play, but YOU have to contextualize things. You just dont want to because you're too comfortable with your perspective to ever consider change

And why was Cucu behind the defense so easy? And why Barca can't progress the ball even before red card?

Bad pressing and midblock. Look how team can't cope with opponent's man to man pressing.

I was going to say the first bit, then deleted by post, because what the hell was he even talking about? 😂.

What led to the set piece lol.

Kid is lost
