I was told by everyone on here that Reijnders is a superb player.

Looks extremely average and overhyped, like so many players nowadays. Serie A level player.

He is a good player but also is 27 and won nothing in his career and was outshone by Scott McTominay last season as Milan finished 8th.

Usual folk who are desperate for him to be better than FDJ when has not even been close to date gets him mentioned and hyped for good games.

Time

Words that does us all well.
Or maybe he's just not that good. Everyone always hides behind 'he needs time' with every player. .I have seen him about a dozen times now and he has never impressed me.

I can't see City improving much so he will go down with the ship.

Exactly.

Hipsters rating someone who's a good player but a Milan level player at best.

He will never be at de Jong's level.

If you've seen him 12 times and he's never impressed you, it simples means you have not seen him 12 times.

Overall, he needed a new set of players, but the ones they've signed are not of the same quality in midfield especially but also on the wings with likes of De Bruyne, Bernardo, Gundogan from his old core.

Too bad this means Madrid is likely gonna pick Rodri out of that side. Rodri and partly Haaland are the only players worth getting anyway.

He can be a good signing for City if they get the balance correct and would be good for Netherlands national team if does.

Looks a bit one paced defensively if asked to be deep a lot. Thrivs more in chaos of final third more than anything it looks to me.

Wide players is a huge issue and players like FDJ and Pedri who take the ball deep and are very very diffiult to press.

If teams swarm Rodri they find it hard difficult at times.

Last week Spurs swarmed their DM area and pressed high by defending 1v1 all over park. They lacked press resitence and players with 1v1 ability to make them pay for that gamble it looked to me.

Imagine Spurs do that and Barca get ball to Yamal 1v1.. he would kill them.

Pep can still fins solutions but he looks at a loss just at moment.

The point is he's a drastic downgrade from when they had Yaya Toure, David Silva, KDB, Bernardo, Rodri at his best (yes I know he's a different type of player or position to most of these but I mean in standard). And that's true of so many of the players they have signed. A clear level or 8 below the legends they have had in recent past.

He will only get better from here. Still a good player.

Or maybe you're easily impressed?

Just because it takes you ages to evaluate a player doesn't mean it takes me that long.

You're a hipster.

Weren't you saying I wasn't a hipster a few months ago, when I agreed with you on Bellingham? 😂

Just say you haven't seen him play 12 games, you got caught in a very obvious lie.

No one can see him in 12 games and never been impressed, it's literally mpossible and a obvious lie.

But anyways, not doing the 10,000 back & forth with you, ain't got the time for that.
