Obviously I was being facetious with that.

But the point is, do you see this guy being a factor in a team that wins PL or CL? He's fine if you wanna fight for top 4 I guess, but he's never gonna be of the level of their past players.

No you weren't, but I don't care about all that lol

He's class, I'll be proven Right, it's as guaranteed as the time value of money.

What I really want you to admit is that you have not seen him play 12 times or anywhere close to it.

I'll give you a about 6/7, come on admit it.

Time Value of money a concept you dont understand when it comes to kit deals etc as was proven.

You didnt even know where he played and not for first time comment on players who dont watch.

I was. It's obvious good players can play in struggling teams. And if I didn't genuinely believe that, I'd still be sticking to my guns on that. The fact I have admitted I was being facetious instantly proves I was.

We'll see. I tend to be right on the PL too. So this could be an unstoppable force vs an immovable object.

Also, what does 'being right' mean? If he plays 'well' but City get top four, as far as I am concerned that is failure. For you to be proved right he has to be near Rodri level and they have to win Pls and make the semis and final of CL, as that's the level they're used to and the level they were at previously. That's the level he was bought to be at, so being 'quite good' won't cut it.

I have seen him about a dozen times. A lot of them were internationals though, to be fair. So in those games I am usually bored already so maybe judging him with a negative bias.

Last season may have been his best for Liverpool but comments from him in recent weeks it seems like he is going change his game a bit now as getting older.
Think last season was maybe one of his best statistically but his all-round game and performances were best in his first few years. That's normal with him being 32 last season and losing some pace and energy and playing in moments more.

Just my opinion, though.

Arsenal are pressing high as fuck and leaving Wirtz in some space.

If Liverpool can play the ball past that press to Wirtz game will open up and should get a lot of joy.
