Rayo is a team that loves to apply pressure on the ball. Different to a classic parked bus, although like any Spanish side, once in a lead they will drop deeper. I would play all of Rashford, Ferran and Raphinha, but with Ferran as the 2nd striker this time, and with Rashford and Raphinha switching places on LW and 9.

They are one of the sides apart from Barça I enjoy watching play the most in Spain - they do emulate our style of play

We have to be on from the first whistle, the players surely know this as does Flick

I miss the old Rayo. Think 2012-2015. They basically played like us but we always crushed them because of our individual superiority. The games where really fun to watch. The modern Rayo seem more pragmatic and I guess its kinda working for them.

Maradona could dribble past whole RM defense on sleeping pills and cocaine combined on 6000ft altitude and scissor kick it into net while crossing the ball for himself. Not really an accurate example.
