Not in the last 5 minutes.

They played a perfect last 5 lol.

11 men defending and some shit housing.

Not searching for an unnecessary goal.

If we played Arsenal. They would have got a throw in and spent the 5 minutes getting prepared for it. There's levels to this.

I remember they had a good chance that they cocked up though. Guy had a chance to shoot in the box and just dwelled on it and then hit it into the defender.

They are changing it next year. They finally realised the logical thing is that return leg will always be in the home of the higher ranked team in league stage.

The other thing they should change is the draw whether 1st will meet 7th or 8th, etc.

This is both of no utility, and unfair. 1st-8th, 2nd - 7th, etc. should be

The bracket should be automatically determined the last day of the league phase up until the final.

So we put 1 or 2 past and win.

That's better than scoring 6 and conceding 7.
You're asking for a completely different approach of football

Those who have tried to score 1 or 2 and go through have repeatedly been back stabbed by our horrendous defense over the years. This is why the club hired Flick who will get the most out of our attack at least

We don't really have any super reliable defenders. Not shitting on Cubarsi or Inigo but they are well prone to fucking it up, not to speak of Araujo.

Arsenal were the weakest team left in the final four and it wasn't a contest either. They didn't have a pure striker and were hopeless going forward as well. Relying on Saka to bail them out. Easier to "Defend" and control the situation.

Inter might not be perfect but they are on an entirely different level of "Lethal" compared to Arsenal. Both Martinez and Thuram are an excellent duo up top and along with Dumfries they are always a much more clinical threat on the counter and in Set pieces.

Hansi Flick fucked it big time imo.

Firstly he overused our starting players in games already confortably won even by HT and kept playing them absolutely for no reason instead rotating/resting them and give chances to the likes of Victor, Fort, Martin even Ferran particularly when he knew all to well he doesn't have quality subs for them.

Thus the starters got more and more fatigued and injury risking. The result was Lewa, Balde and Kounde all got injured in the most critical part of the season and he had to start playing the players he didn't sub even when winning confortably in LL vs. the fecking Inter in the fecking SF of CL out of them all.

Secondly, he didn't manage to make Barca able to defend Inter who is not a great attacking side by any means. Inter scored in two leggs whenever they needed it. I thought Flick learned his lesson and that the return leg won't start AGAIN from 2-0 for Inter but guess what, that's exactly what happend in both matches. Inter scored 7 goals out of 10 shots on target, that's completely unacceptable.

He also started Olmo at Milano instead of starting Fermin who could run and press more and bring Olmo when Inter was starting to get tired.

He persisted with Martin too.

Ofc individual blunders weren't on him but still, he is the first to blame for what eventually happend to the team in CL desipite individual errors.

Spot ON. The best possible description of what Flick did. I was afraid too that this will happen in the worst moment when we needed the key players. Somebody mentioned the same issue in one of the previous posts. It is exactly the result of his stubbornness playing over and over again same team.

Yes, to let in 7 goals from Inter is...

When I say these words to myself, I start laughing hysterically.

Sommer had a masterclass and Inter are in the final.

Donnarumma had a masterclass and PissG are in the final.

Madrid's best player in each of their UCL wins in the last 10 years? Courtois.

Seeing a trend here folks?

Meanwhile, we conceded 7 out of our 10 shots faced and our GK has had those sorts of stats for the last 10 years.

I keep saying this. The goalkeeper is the most important player on the pitch. But our attitude is is that we don't want to 'waste' 20m on Joan Garcia because we don't need him as we have the mighty Tek and the magnificent Ter.

FC Barcelona, folks. Where we prefer climbing up Mount Everest, than abseiling down Mount Everest.

Interesting final, but I'm gonna try and boycott it. Stay off major news websites (OneFootball, FotMob, etc.) and have a normal Saturday, without the match. Barca had a resurgence and then gave it away, hell... I might boycott the clasico as well while I'm at it. I'm checked out for the rest of the season, just waiting for LaLiga next season...

Tek let us down big time. He's only a slighty better Stegen, all in all.

Makes sense he played for Arsenal and Juve after all.

That’s such a good point!
It’s hilarious and laughable how is possible such an important club like Barca to have maybe the worst scouting team? Beside Pedri where they paid peanuts for him to Las Palmas, I do not recall other remarkable and worthy player brought in. I mean lately…
They bought Ferran Torres for about 55m Euro, Eric Garcia for about 30m (tbh I am not sure if that is accurate), Olmo for about 60m, Flopski for about 60m or so (when he was 32 years old) etc. They most probably gave them huge salaries comparing with their added value to the team ( not mentioning that a Flopski was paid with 32m Euro/year what is insane). So with this type of scouting/ management quality, there should be no surprize for anybody why the Barca financially is in such a big depth.
