Nico Williams

Pep betrayed us. He could have told Xavi about that fraud's real skills, but he kept quiet.

I'm also not a fan of Nico for this price. He lacks something to be at the very top and we should stop wasting money on such players, especially with our financial situation. Save money for undisputed starters, look at La-Masia for filler spots.

Don't think Pep knew we'd sign a player for 55m to play him in the worst attacking position of his.
Was a RW at Valencia. Was a second striker kinda at City. We play him at the LW.

Williams gives me Nicolas Jackson vibes. Another player that was wanted by some here last year. Would not touch him with a barge pole.

Just get Rafa Silva if he is out of contract and wait a year. Rafa actually suits or style of play and is super quick as well, though his finishing lets him down at times.

Nobody at LW is worth buying right now.

Ehm buying Nico has nothing to do with how much we paid for Raphinha.
Rather the opposite, we don't want to make the same mistake again of paying too much for a winger who cannot cement his place in the XI, like Ferran and Raphinha.

Nico will probably be the best LW in the squad, but will he be good enough that we don't have to buy a new LW in 2-3 years? I doubt that.
It's entirely relevant because we paid 65mil and 55mil for Torres and Raphina to play as wingers....when they aren't even wingers. Neither have 1 vs 1 potential or thrive far wide either.

So paying 5mil less for an actual winger who is younger and already better at the role than Raphinha is certainly an upgrade.

Accepting taking an L on Torres and recognizing he's been dogshit for us 99% of the time he's been here is necessary. Use him to bring in Nico before he leaves on a free or for almost nothing in a year or two.

Another dog shit take from the biggest jabroni in this forum.
Paying 55m for TORRES over 10 years is not the same as paying 50m for NICO's buy out clause.

We are going to be paying 65mil for Torres before he ends up leaving according to most reports, not 55mil. Bringing in ANY new LW depends on being able to get 25-30mil for Torres which would be a challenge in the first place.

And where did I say to pay the buyout clause, hmm? If Nico wants to come here and they won't negotiate, we simply won't pay it.

You try so hard, and you can't even flame coherently.

You commented on my post first, bud.

Are you off your meds? You've seemed a bit unhinged lately, even for you.

I commneted on your clueless posting. Kicked some knowledge.
And didn't expect you to respond with even more stupidity.
I am done.

You seem mad. You okay? Such an angry little troll.

The opinion I expressed makes perfect sense and is entirely reasonable, anyone can see that.

Get some air, bud. Touch some grass. The forum will be here when you get back.

Would say yes to Mitoma, Kvara, Leao or Luis Diaz for a reasonable price. Son would be nice if we could somehow lure him. Otherwise focus on DM and wait til an obvious candidate appears.

I've followed Mitoma since he signed for Brighton and I really enjoy watching him. He has a rare touch and finesse with the ball. He reminds me of the way Iniesta used to glide with it. It's a shame he got that injury. He's not only great 1 vs 1 but he's a constant menance, hard worker and is always getting involved. By far my favorite choice from that lot.

However none of those players will go for a reasonable price anymore. There was a small chance with Mitoma at first, but he's drawn too much attention now.

Son would've been great here. Shame he's getting old. Otherwise his contract is out in 2025, so he could go pretty cheap.
