Not saying it did but I wouldn't be surprised if politics got in a way nor do I doubt Laporta making enemies in his dealings.

It is easy to play victim and blame others for your own ineptitude.

This hijo de puta is the explanation. Known anti-Laporta figure. He's not related to Victor Font.

We are already over the budget at the moment and a big part of building is coming. It was expected, the only thing we don't know is that if it's mostly due to inflation or corruption, probably both. It's estimated it will be 1,2 or 1,3 billion instead of 960 million.

The good news is that there are rumors that Grada is finally returning against Atletico.

Barca chose Limak despite having the lowest technical third party evaluation because of two reasons : 1- lower financial demands but most importantly 2- Limak guaranteed to Barca a maximum budget (despite contingencies), the other two megabuilders didnt guarantee. Thats why Limak won.

Sure and they'll pay 1 mil for every month of a delay. We're getting a free stadium!

What do you guys think of the strobing light and music played when we score?
Its kinda cringe for me, like the old 90s webpages with rotating skulls and flames everywhere

It's incredible. We should add the ice hockey music when the kickoffs are played and maybe the White stripes too when a penalty is awarded.

I finally got around to watching an NBA game for 1st time in many years and was shocked at how much is going on in the periphery away from the action/court, from music/lights to food being served in what looks like a VIP lounge - coupled to the US tour under Laporta where some inspiration was drawn from Jerry Jones’ stadium in Dallas for Espai Barça, I think they will have to dial back quite a bit of the Vegas aspect of hosting home matches

I don’t like it myself but I also think this is a dynamic phase of modernizing our old venue to bring into modern times - there will be an adjustment period and then eventually the club will minimize certain features for matches and save them for concerts and special events. To that end, I still hold out hope they will get rid of the doubled advertising banks on the lateral side. But agree, I did not like the Americanization of the experience and it was noticeable on the broadcast last night
