We had -10-18 in last weak depending on daylight and it's business as usual. We have had periods in winter with -25-30 in our part of the world as part and parcel of having an actual winter. There are lot more extreme regions in the north, including even largest Russian capitals or some areas in Scandinavia that can have +40c in heat of summer and -40c in icy winter.
No wonder nordic peoples are superior to all others at basically everything. Resilience to harsh conditions seems to be a good thing in a long run for both mind and body, while southernmost people are naturally lazy and morally lax due to being too coddled by mother Gaya.

1st - Not living in southern hemisphere, nor am I from the southern hemisphere.
2nd - Read again, I was talking about Ireland, where temps seldom goes below -3. I have spent almost a decade there, and its from experience. Its all about the system that's in place. The day it snows heavily, or the temperatures drop below -3c, Ireland stands still, unlike central/eastern Europe, where this occurrence is a daily occurrence.
3rd - If given the choice, people in your part of the world would move to Spain/portugal/Italy or similar temperate climate in a heartbeat. A moderate climate is always preferred by humanity.
4th - You saying +40c is an extreme, brother it gets closer to +50c in parts of my country, 40c is chump change.
5th - Not everything is about racial superiority, take your head out of that ass you keep liking. If that was the case, your reading my reply and not able to deduce my intention would denote your inherent lack of IQ, which I can attribute to race, right? Or Irish who feel similarly about winters in the part of the world where its always -10c or below, is the Irish race inherently inferior?
