This guy is funny, he played a bit and showed absolutely nothing but he thinks he can play at a top level. Gavi at 17 could actually contribute and you can say he is worth investing in. But this guy showed an absolute 0, just like moriba but he's still hyped just because he is an academy player. Let him go he won't be anything

If it is because of minutes played then no way he will get regular minutes with qsg. Another Moriba case.

Unless Lucho wants him in his team.

It isn't about minutes, it is agent and money.

De la Peña was the one driving the likes of Eric Garcia, Tenas, Bernabe out of the club. Same with Garrido and Alena but those were more understandable.
Rumours he tried to convince Gave to do the same, and even with Lamine and it is why Barca pushed Lamine towards Mendes.

How much minutes were more granted for the aforementioned players in their new rich clubs? Eric came back crawling, Tenas barely played, Bernabe went to Parma.

De la Peña and Dro are securing the bag, and will figure out his career later.

And I'm sure he will get that at PSG, he will play a lot with Neves and Vitinha in midfield there. This is about us not protecting our valuable assets properly.
Sure, we didn’t protect him with such a low clause..but even so, he wouldn’t get the necessary amount of playing time to develop here. Lamine was “lucky” in the sense that we had sort of a vacuum at his position and he made sure to prove his worth. Same with other youngsters. With the current players ahead of Dro he wouldn’t get the opportunities as frequent as he should in order to develop.

He has two of the best CMs in the World ahead of him and neither of them are even in their late 20s.

I'm sure he is going to play a lot and develop nicely until Lucho leaves in a year or two.
I'm sure he values your opinion about his career very highly.
Just let the kid be and stop being butthurt about him doing what he thinks is best for him.

I didn't see anyone in here being butthurt about club splashing 60M on Dani Olmo who left for Dinamo Zagreb at 16. On the contrary, they were all glad to see the homeboy return.

Just don't give first team exposure to players that have insanely low release clauses and/or are managed by prick agents. If someone buys them for 6m they go ahead and pay that for the potential they show in Spanish 3rd division. No young player who features for first team should be obtainable for 6m. Period.

Promote players at 18 years old with contracts sorted. You give 17 year olds first team football and it messes with their heads. They all think they are like Lamine.

Here as in this forum? There was a rage here when the deal happened :ROFLMAO:

And Olmo was essentially let go, we didn't try to retain him that much.

Don Juan Laporta Estruch

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
Couldn't care less as he is ten a penny in Catalunya and will never even be worth the 6m that was paid for him.

Fans have every right to hate him though, as he has turned his back on the club that developed him, for money, and at the first opportunity as well.

What I do care about is the lack of poaching Barca does these days. So many options to get promising youngsters from France, England, Germany. When is the last time we signed a highly rated academy prospect from a big club outside of Spain ?

We only get poached and don't go out poaching. With the pull we have we should be doing much better.

Someone give Deco a rifle. :hunt:

The only odd thing here is that

Wrong.

Laporta poached 12 eggs this morning.

And that was just dessert.

Flick put this kid in the right place during the press conference. I'm convinced Flick is consistent with the players he promotes, showing them loyalty and trust in the process of growth. Dro wasn't someone randomly picked from La Masia. Although his performances were nothing, Flick saw something in training.

So, Flick is rightfully mad at the situation. Dro betrayed the trust and opted on a shortcut with PSG in a more important role, or more money. Lucho is a great manager, one of the best, but he's not Flick and I wouldn't bet my horses on Dro fulfilling his potential, as Luis Enrique wants finished product.
