🚨🗣️ Lewandowski:

▪️When I arrived at Barcelona, from the beginning, the club told me they wanted me to be strict because they needed this type of personality.

▪️I noticed that the young players weren’t very used to this kind of discussions or behavior.

▪️So that the youngsters learn not only on the pitch but also off it; what to do in the gym, and the importance of hard work every day.

▪️After a few months, I realized they didn’t really favor this fatherly role. I understood that I had to adapt.

▪️They don’t like the harsh style — we are from different generations. I’m older than Lamine Yamal’s father, for example. Then I realized that I, too, can learn a lot from them.

▪️I also noticed that today they understand football more than we did in our generation. They are more open-minded and know exactly what they want.

Lamine's dad is actually older, he is 39 (at least that's what they wrote on his birthday cake in ig post last summer), but yeah Lewa is closer to the age of their parents than he is to the players.

Every generation had emblematic figures that achieved great things, but the current one, people born well into the 00s, my hopes for these guys is grim as fuck.

Kids raised with tiktok... good luck trying to be the next Messi, the next Jordan or whatever. Not with that victim mentality.

More info on the possibility of seeing Robert Lewandowski in SPL.

🔵🔴 In the current discussions to finalize the João Cancelo deal, Al Hilal have put forward the idea of including Robert Lewandowski in a deal that would see the Polish striker join the Saudi Pro League until the end of the season. Instead of finishing the season in La Liga,

🇸🇦 Lewandowski would relieve Barça of his last six months’ salary, a period he would then spend at Al Hilal with an increased salary.

🤔 All of this is subject to Lewa’s agreement, and it is not yet known what he thinks about it.

Sounds like total bullshit to me. I see Lewandowski as a family man first, same as Messi's wife, his wife and daughters wouldn't want to go Arabia most likely. I can be wrong of course, but my feeling is, he'll never go into the desert.

Kids born 07 and 08 are playing for top teams all over Europe and they have zero fear, utmost confidence on the pitch. It's not just Lamine

Now this is probably because they have less humility but it's a good sign

Humility and being autenthic and critical with yourself are good things to have around you. It tempers and shaves off bad character traits. Ignorance is almost never good.

Don't want to sound like old people saying younger generations are always worse, but the shit going on in social media is dumb as fuck. If you can resist that level of stupidity infecting your mind, you have a great chance to develop into a smart person.

It isn't just Social Media. The West has considerably lowered the educational standards so that blacks, migrants, women, everyone can get a degree. The US educational system was always a joke except for a select few private schools for the rich. It never mattered that you had knowledge in the US. You were good to go as long as you had enough knowledge to operate machines and do labour. But now Europe follows the same path. Lower Saxony in Germany recently got rid of long division and decimal numbers from the math curriculum in elementary schools. Apparently that's "too complex" now. Importing 80 IQ people then in order to not discriminate give everyone 80 IQ tasks is the motto.

Apparently Gen Z is also high on astrology, tarot, zodiac signs etc. I thought my wife was bullshitting me when she told me about it until I sat in the train on the way to the airport and heard with my own ears 2 Gen Z girls talking about a guy and how their signs don't match so they couldn't be together in a relationship based on that.

They are breeding a generation of AI slaves who won't be able to do anything but swipe American apps and ask Gemini how to tie shoelaces. Google already does ads like that: "Hey Gemini, what does 'cancelado' on the train station mean". lmao

Social Media is just a symptom, not the cause. In Asia children use TikTok for educational videos, not for stupid dances, "challenges" or "life hacks" like cooking steak in 5 kg of butter then smearing it with peanut butter at the end.
