In his eyes he deferred his wages, went on to be player of La Liga season granting us the title. Got a bad injury which got him sidelined. Then had to sign on his injury/de-registraton twice to help the broke Barca again.

That's normal LL procedure, every club does this if a player is longer injured than 4 months. That it was even a topic in the press was entirely his fault, for he was offended Barca bought Joan as a replacement and made a fuss out of a normal rule.
In the end, he was 4,5 months injured, exactly as the doctors predicted and not how he wrote in his IG post "3 months". He just gave in, when Barca threatened to sue him for actively harming the club.

Trolling Barca since 1899, no one cares.
I dont watch football near as much as I used to up a few years ago, why's it such a deal to sell the guy? He's not the worst goalkeeper ever, bound to be snapped up by atleast decent clubs.

It will end up with Barca paying vast chunk of his salary for him to play elsewhere. Kick the decision 6 months forward. Everyone wins except Barca.

Our board is good that way. Just kick the bucket.

Don't blame Ter Stegen for contracts offered to him by Barca boards.

They are a sleazy bunch. They make foolish decisions and overpay.
Then, after few years, they run smear press campaigns.
We do overpay far too often - we never ever learn our lesson. Stegen is among the 5 best paid goalies lol, that's fucking insane... I pray some EPL team take him - fuck it, we could even cover 20-30% of his wage if he goes away.

This is most likely what will happen... we might loan him out to one of Newcastle, Tottenham, Manchester United or Aston Villa (maybe Monaco) for 6 months with us covering 30ish %. IF he does well we might be able to shake him, but I'm not holding my breath...

Girona is a huge drop in level for him even though it's a temporary move. I was expecting a few mid table teams in Germany would take him permanently but maybe no one rates him or could be his wage demands are too high.

I have a feeling he is slowly getting used to getting paid to do nothing. Like Umtiti. I bet the longer the time goes the more it feels nice.

He'll join Girona for 6 months, be back in late-July and then start his press tour about how he will stay and fight for the job.
