Hansi Flick side made it to the semi-finals last season and will be hoping to go on better this year, but former midfielder Emmanuel Petit feels there is no way they can be crowned champions of Europe.

To be honest, it is hard to disagree. Unless some players step up their game, an elite team like Arsenal would dominate against Barca.

Arsenal had 2.3xg and Barca over 3.6xg vs Atletico, not saying we are better than Arsenal but wouldnt underrate Hansi's Barca when it's in top form and the key players are back

To be honest, it is hard to disagree. Unless some players step up their game, an elite team like Arsenal would dominate against Barca.

Not sure if they would dominate but surely would win

And that's the case for any team in the world now. Arsenal is complete

They didn't dominate Bayern either but they won pretty comfortably at the end

Seems like a credible rumor and that it is indeed a Flick preference. Due to FFP constraints up until now, we haven't been able to rate his eye for talent in the transfer market but his assessment of Masia youth players so far has been excellent
