4 - Ronald McDonald Araújo

This is the most catastrophically idiotic footballer I’ve ever seen in a Barcelona shirt. He’s beyond any epithet, metaphor, or label.

And to make it worse, he’s so hopelessly dumb that he keeps repeating the same colossal mistakes over and over again. Tek also commits blunders, but at least he has the excuse of his age, this guy doesn’t. Nothing can justify just how unbelievably stupid he is. For as big and physically imposing as he is, he’s just as unbelievably stupid.

I said last season that a career ending injury to Ter-Stegen would be a blessing to Barca and when it happened it turned out to be true.

Hopefully the same happens to Araujo.

We coming for you.

New contract until 2031 btw. Because you get rewarded for being a clown at Barca.

The fact that there is a portion of this fanbase that still back this guy, ask for him to be played and blame managers for his issues is just a testament to how stupid some fans are these days.

This guy needs a brain transplant, not a football coach.

"A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a babbling stream. It's too treacherous to cross, so the scorpion nicely asks the frog to carry him across on its back. This makes the frog a little suspicious. It asks, “How do I know you won’t sting me?” The scorpion says, “Because if I do, I will die too.” That sound reasoning relaxes the frog's nerves. So he allows the scorpion to climb aboard and they shove off across the flowing water. They get halfway across the stream and the scorpion stings the frog directly in the middle of his back. The frog feels the onset of the scorpion's poison and starts to sink. He manages one dying breath: "Why?!" And the scorpion replies: “It’s my nature…”

It's sad that his head is simply too slow for these kind of matches. His body has the potential to be a top3 defender in the world. Big, robust, fast. There was a season he didn't lose one duel under Xavi but as soon as he needs to use his brain, he's lost.
He can still be a good defender in another system, where it's straight forward to defend, but not in Flick's system where defenders also need to be smart. If the club wants to continue with Flick, they should better sell Araujo as long as he has some value. Because Flick and Araujo don't mix, yesterday's inexcusable mistakes were the last straw.

Shouldn't have started him in the first place.
Yes, I was also for keeping the clean sheet backline from Bilbao, because the automatisms were there. Flick thought he needed a big robust defender for freekicks and corners most likely, but he underestimated the downsides of Araujo sadly.

Built like a sequoia but have a small nut as a brain. Moreover you are the captain, that means you have to guide the team. Avoid this kind of humiliation. Remember the story between these two clubs.

When you are an idiot you are even with muscles or money.
