Been calling him Ronald McDonald since the PSG game. Things change - Last time this season, 99% of this forum thought Slot was better than Klopp
I didn't tbf. Last season was just Klopp residual. Slot was just enjoying the rewards of Klopp's hard work.

This is his real system and he's a total fraud.

Not roasting you here but feels a bit surreal that you of all people are calling him a clown when you used to be such a big fan of his. :mou:

I think he had a big downfall. The PSG game. He never took responsibility and ever since it's been downhill. He was beast before that. Maybe the injuries made him worse too.

The biggest issue is tho, he didn't learn from his mistake but blamed everyone else.

everyone was a fan when he first broke in the first team. it's been a while though.
I think he was always poor on the ball for a Barca CB and had these bozo moments in him.

People just hoped that he would iron it out of his game as he matures. But he never grew mentally.

Braindead...he is an amazing athlete but he is so dumb...selling Inigo was a huge mistake. Him and Kounde need to leave the club Asap.

I think you are right. Same as how Vini never recovered after losing the Balon d'or. Mentality is so important.

That PSG red card was one thing and I had some sympathy for him.. tonight that was utterly fucking retarded beyond belief and there is no excuse whatsoever for it. To make it even more hilarious he's captain as well

He just gets targeted in the buildup every time vs top teams.

If I recall the red card against PSG was also from a missed pass of his and then he had to commit a foul in order to stop the counter. In that game they intentionally left him on the ball.

Teams know they can leave him on the ball and will eventually cause mistakes or at least he will make the wrong choices.

They will struggle to get much market for him now.

Have left it too long and been exposed.

Same for Kounde.

He fooled some for a bit but he is what he is.
There was a period we could have sold Araujo for 60m+, during his renewal Bayern wanted him, and after Xavi's conservative style football painted him in a good light he was talked about as a top defender.

I think now we will struggle to find any team he would want to go to who will make a serious offer. We would be able to get 30-40m maybe from the mid table clubs in the Prem, Wolves, Fulham, Forest etc but I doubt he will accept to go there.

He is a moron.

Folk still stick to this idea he is better defender when Barca are deep or pinned back.

Reality is it just gives him the chance to fuck up nearer his own goal.

Any team watching him will see that and how he is targetted on the ball as a weakness.

"A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a babbling stream. It's too treacherous to cross, so the scorpion nicely asks the frog to carry him across on its back. This makes the frog a little suspicious. It asks, “How do I know you won’t sting me?” The scorpion says, “Because if I do, I will die too.” That sound reasoning relaxes the frog's nerves. So he allows the scorpion to climb aboard and they shove off across the flowing water. They get halfway across the stream and the scorpion stings the frog directly in the middle of his back. The frog feels the onset of the scorpion's poison and starts to sink. He manages one dying breath: "Why?!" And the scorpion replies: “It’s my nature…”
