I follow the construction. One reason why the pace dropped was the short term goal of closing the underground parking lot. They threw a ridiculous amont of workers there to finish it ( multi-storey-underground parking). And indeed .. they already are nearing the full closure of the parking lot and it already looks level with the outer space of the camp nou. I think once that goal is achieved many workers will be reassigned to other parts of the stadium (and diamonds) and the pace will accelerate again.

Could be it and I've noticed it as well, but work on third tier has been going on as well. Something unnecessary if we really focused on returning to Camp Nou in Laporta's promised schedule.

Im pretty positive the main focus is to close the parking lot because that area is the most concentrated in terms of workers. I read somewhere that phase 2 (45k) requires that hence the full focus.

Four milestones soon (matter of weeks)
1 closing up of the parking lot
2 third and final cantilever fully concreted
3 almost all metal structure in place (except roof and roof supports)
4 All pillars concreted

I see those 4 achieved by 31 12 December at most.. I always watch daily vlogs with my coffee when I wake up.

Things that will take place still for months :
1- placement of third stand pieces
2- placement of ceramic plates (currently they are installing their supports in the first cantilever, and it's work actually)
3- construction of vip rooms (currently concreting the floors that will separate first vip level from second level)
4- construction inside the five diamonds ( all now have been built and concreted in terms of external shape)

Still a lot more of details but this is in a nutshell.

I don't know what the municipality could ask for more to open the stadium.

In @Porque words, let's play at Nou Mestalla instead, then.
They would have long ago granted the first occupancy permit, if the construction company was catalan based. That's simply revenge from their side, 100%. As I said before, if you want to find something in such a huge construction site that isn't perfectly by the book, you'll find it.

edit: The video even appears to be at least 1-2 months old. As the benches still don't have the nike cover, as well as the animation curve has only a third of the seats installed.

As someone who follows construction i was confused about the reports that the roof is going to be raised summer 2027. Well, here is what happened .. someone within this club administration said this informally to a couple of journos.. hence the spread of this information.. yesterday parts of the compression ring already landed on the site. All indicate the implausibility of the 2027 news. We ARE going to build the roof next summer 2026.

Theory of this Misonformation: the administrator might have confusingly used the football season label (2026-2027) and inadvertently caused that .
