14 - Marcus Rashford

I seriously believe that in a more open game Rashford will do very very well.

With that being said he is useless against low blocks and about 15 clubs will be using that in the league.
UCL and cup games will be his calling. More open, and teams generally look to score.
Most league matches are against compact teams, so would be harder for him.

But I think he just needs time. I will start judging him come October onwards. Give him a solid month & a half to adjust. And then see how he does.

Yeah despite my criticism of him he needs some time before he can be judged, either way.

In theory big CL games with wide open spaces will be his bread and butter, but it doesn't always work that way. He's also untested deep into the CL knockouts.

I mean he has his uses potentially, just it's still a risk loaning him (on the park, for sure). Would be good if he did well (especially as a big fuck you to Man United and to make their fans more angry) but it's far from a guarantee he will do well.

Ask psg fans, Mbappe and tuchel if he is untested 🥵

In general I agree but I also think this is part of what he is getting even out of training sessions at Barça - having to work in tight spaces to take advantage of his best attributes. There were signs of that vs Levante for me, it’s not fluid yet but seems clear to me he knows what he will have to do to be effective in this Barça

Can he? I think so but remains to be seen will he

Another game and showed nothing again lol. This time he had space to work with to utilise his pace but didn’t do shit.

We should have invested our already tight budget in a proper CB. But nope, we got a Man Utd reject and Barca fans thought Flick would turn him in to prime Ronaldinho lmao
