No that's not true. It isn't just Real Madrid fans.
Maybe I have spent too much time laughing at clueless modern internet fans, but they all seem obsessed with the CL no matter who they support.
Fair enough. Thanks for the debate.I don't think there is a CL obssession. It becomes a key thing the moment you hit the level to be able to get it. Madrid do have the right combinations of skills and mentality to do better than the rest in this competition.
For us, the team under Flick is getting close to the level that gives you hopes about CL, to the point of being pissed off about a semifinal considering you had it in your hand.
A CL this season would be light years ahead of another league win as good as that would be.
Yes...but some people say he's as good as or better than guys like R9, Puskas, Pele (if you call him a CF), Muller, Van Basten, Romario...which is clearly absolute bollocks.Lewa is a legendary CF across his career.
That's why I said yes, as there's levels to legendary. He's a legend in the sense he might scrape into the top 10 strikers ever (probably not for me). Even 11-20 is legendary.Would think very very few would ever have Lewa in the debate as best CF ever with likes of Van Basten and R9.
Can be a 'legend' but not on that level of all time best.
He's obviously a legendary striker. But I feel he's no better than guys like Hazard, Salah, Bale, Benzema, Suarez, Robben, Ribery as talents (imo worse) yet gets treated like he's a level above all them forwards.Interesting discussion guys, just going back from Gamescom and cant read it in calmess but @Maradona37 consider that Lewy was 35 or 34 when he came here, if we look at his age + the performances he had we can surely say he overoverperformed. Think to become a real club legend he needs the cl. I mean even Ney isnt considered as barca legend from most fans. But Lewy came in a very difficult to Barca to help the project so character wise >>>> Ney.
