I think around 40m would be a good business deal for him.
He is good but La Masia will produce many more of him, we have never had a problem with producing countless bench/squad level midfielders, and a lot of those guys are just plug and play.
In any case, one of the midfielders will eventually go between now and next season. It will probably be one of Bernal (if he doesn't manage to recover properly from his injury), Casado or Gavi (depending on how good the offer is, the club would let him go).

If we end up selling him, it will just confirm my thoughts about flick and him.
Flick doesn't have an eye for talent, which everything in his career suggest is the case, he can turn a good player into a excellent one, especially attacking players, but he wouldn't know a good player if it slapped him in the face to sign or promote.

We're not selling him, get a fucking grip - we got Rashy registered and we're not in financial trouble other than the stupid-ass FFP which we now have under control. There won't be any fire-sale of Casado - if he wants to leave and we get at least 40-50M for him than we might accept - other than that we're not in financial trouble and everybody can fuck right off...

When Manchester can spend 60m on a piece of garbage Ugarte, Casado is worth that much at least. Actually if they were any smart they would try to get him he would improve them so much
Goes to show the Portuguese league and their Paul Heyman school of business. "Hide the weaknesses, excentriate the positives".

It is a curious dichotomy. So many players get vastly overrated (just look at all Barca wonderkids in last 30 years) while some others coming through ranks get constantly underrated even though performing well even in biggest of matches.
Did anyone even rate Casado? Basically got in only because Bernal, Frenkie injuries. Or Eric who was shipped out, returned and again almost kicked out.
Don't liking these rumours about Fermin or Casado or any of the younger Barca boys who are super motivated and go far and beyond fighting for the shirt.
