Yeah but when was the last time we were so stacked in positions primarily because of talent coming through La Masia? What you are alluding to is not a hardened rule established by the club, rather a rare occurrence that hardly ever comes about.

With Thiago Alcantara back in 2013, and we ended up selling him.

There's some other stuff than in the first one in this vid i think. I really like his style. It's quite unique that he's more direct and not in erratic way that Fermin tends to be. His technique and passing culture is blue blood.

The club has said if the offer is good AND the player wants to leave, they won't stop them.
Basically, noone wants to leave.
Only Virgilli wants leave and he's not parr of the first team anyway.

If anybody from midfield atm should be sold (they shouldn't) it's Frenkie. There was big talk from Deco and Laporta that no player will be able to go into the last year of his contract and they are doing exactly that.

They could be played by Frenkie where he talks about renewing and changing agents but it never really happens. He could still plan to get all the wages from us and leave for free in less than a year.

With our shit sporting departement it wouldn't surprise me they sell Casado for peanuts and Frenkie leaves for free next summer. What then?

Frenkie is better than Casado and I don't want anyone sold this summer but he should be on the market before Casado if he doesn't renew asap.
I mean they are probably counting on Frenkie leaving.

Next man up.
Pedri/Bernal/Olmo
Pedri/Gavi/Bernal
Pedri/Gavi/Fermin

All types of possible combos if Frenkie and Casado leave. Now I'd rather we keep Casado heck Frenkie is a great player as well. But, we just have to see

Don Juan Laporta Estruch

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
Any sale from here on in is going to sting. A homegrown hombre, even more.

We just saw how our second string can perform in Korea. It was exceptional. They all deserve a chance to stay and fight for a first team spot.

I like the Rashford signing, but if it means that we have to sell, then I'd have preferred they did not do it.

But more importantly we need to ask questions why a domestic treble winning side with revenues of a billion Euros can't have a net transfer spend of 10m Euros, without having to sell a player for 50-60m.

Something is not right with all this.

Casado is a 2026 sale when you have more conclusivity (not a word, but it should be) on Gavi and Bernal.

And even then, he is great depth and should really only go if he continues end season form, or requests an exit.

Club priority should be deloading wage bill through Stegs being de-registered or loaned, getting Oriol off the books, selling with buyback Fort (though Erics injury in pre-season brings to light our lightness there again).

Reality is, 12m gift from Mendes for Pau Victor and the DRC sponsorship for 12m season. That's modestly, another 20m in the coffers and still same FFP shit.

Make it make sense to me brothers. Are we the Lehmann Brothers of football or what!?!?

Honestly these issue is Barca has signed so many players to renewals that has to affect things.

Best scenario for us at the moment if no future signings are considered to upgrade the backline is register Garcia for Stegen injury and keep the squad as is. I'm sure we can find space to register Rashford.

Casado is not a problem we have. He's not a problem player like Stegen or Araujo.

Issue for Casado is that, once De Jong came back from injury, he took his spot with absolute ease.

You have a repeated case of assigning issues to casado that doesn't compute with reality.

He messed up in big games, no he played great multiple big games.

De Jong took his spot with ease, no he had a dip and even then flick rotated, once he started to find form again, he could injured.

Its understandable to not rate him highly, but don't assign issues that aren't real.

How many games did Casado start once De Jong was fit after he came back? Besides if we sell Casado is because Flick gives the green light. You can relax, we won't sell any players without Flick's blessing.
