Olise was also top at Palace.

Next...

Yeah, he is a good player. Never said he wasn't. Palace didn't play at the elite level though. Unless you think playing in a big league for no titles and winning nothing is the big level.

Contrary to what some think, just playing in EPL doesn't make you a big level player.

Unlike you who always talk out of your arse,
I have watched him in Europe with Bayern last season, I have watched him a few times at Palace before.
He had always been clutch, super-clever signing by Bayern.
If we didn't have the best RW, I would be mad we missed on him...

So basically you've watched none of his this season but was just going solely off stats lol.

We all know bro

WTF is this answer?
Your argument supposedly was that Nico does not play for the elite, whereas Olise does.
I answered that Olise also played for Palace and was top-notch

And you are uttering nonsense.
Decide what you want to argue first

PS: I am not saying Nico is bad. I am defending Olise's quality, which most here haven't watched a single minute yet wanna have a say

I will be my left hand than if we could give birdie at lie detector test, he has not watched a single game of Athletic outside of when they play Barca/Madrid and the Madrid one is a stretch

Let's put it so it is more clear. Nico has achieved more in his career compared to Olise, despite playing much fewer matches for a top tier side.

Most here have probably seen him more than you lol.

You lost what little credibility you had left, when it turns out you've been twerking for Dembele based on a stat sheet and YouTube highlights.

Focusing solely on the fee makes little sense when Nico demands high wages.

His total cost on the books would be between 25 and 30m per year.

That's about right for a player of that level. Not an incredible market opportunity, and not a trap.

Does he have high wage demands?

I thought they were low…hmmm…

He would be asking for the same salary and cost a lot more than 60m without the clause.

the the likes of Mbeumo wants ridiculous salary and is looking to move for around 75m euros.

So either way you look at it, it's still a great market opportunity, because clubs would still pay 90m for him and give him the salary he wants, he's probably the most soft after winger on the market, but only wants one club.

Only way you could do better than Nico is hitting some real deals like PSG did with Doue and Barcola. But easy to do that when you face no consequences of those players floping. Hard to take those chances when you can't afford losing money. PSG signed Muani, and losing 70-80m meant nothing for the state of Qatar. We can't afford this approach.

For us, we need the transfers to be hits at this point. We can't afford paying 50m for some unproven player who didn't show anything at a big level, and failing.

Which players would that be if I may ask?

edit: sorry…I think I understand what u mean now.

But isn’t nico almost a 50m transfer?
That is why I like about the transfer.
It’s not a high fee in the market, which will also take pressure off of Nico and expectations of fans. He will have more time.

That.
On my book, 25-30 on the books per year is TOO much IMO

I would say we are banking too much on his chemistry with the Spanish lads. Without that he doesn't look this great market opportunity.

But I agree it is an ok signing that could turn out great for a fair amount in transfer fee. Dunno about his salary as all we hear ar rumours.

Good point. PSG missed on many targets but they can afford it. We can't.
