Nico Williams

I have watched Bayern in CL, and Olise didn't stand out at all. Didn't do anything comparable with Nico at the Euro for Spain. I don't think what a winger playing for Bayern does vs likes of Kiel, or Bochum, or Paderborn or over 60% of the German league matters much.

The entirety of that league has no clue about defense whatsoever. Playing vs Leganes or Getafe is three times the challenge for an attacker than the entire Bundesliga in terms of defensive practices and standards.

It's tough to compare Nico with Olise, because Nico plays for a smaller Spanish club vs elite opposition in La Liga, while Olise is the contrary, is playing for the best club in Germany by a mile vs much weaker opposition.

Basically playing conditions are reversed.

If Barca sign Nico, you will see an instant upgrade in numbers and efficiency. Going from the players Nico plays with at Bilbao, to likes of Pedri, Raphinha, Lamine... that's night and day.
You talked shite when comparing Nico to wingers at elite clubs when their value sky rocketed already.

Now you're spinning it again telling us that Olise is the worse player even though he beats Nico on every stat and cost Bayern less than 55M.

He doesn't beat Nico at high level performances. It's easy to do the math. Nico was decisive for Spain at an elite tournament, Olise wasn't decisive at anything elite.

He's not even a starter for his National Team by comparison. Compare a winning Euro winger, with one that is not even a main player for his national team. Come on... you're eating the Bundesliga donut and almost choking with it.

Olmo's stats the season before we signed him and all his stats, just as a certification of what I posted before.

But on one has olmo was a great signing despite us having fermin already and being blessed with endless AM in masia.

On the other hand Williams had 5 goals and 5 assist, isn't worth it at the same price as olmo because once upon a time we signed Henry or dinho.

Make it make sense.

If Olise was better why was he getting scored at the Olympics by fermin while Nico was school France at the euros?.

One now players for bayern in a cake walk league.

The other for the most defensive side in the top 7 in la Liga.

You're welcome
Blessed AM in masia was only found out after the fact.

Gavi injured start of season, Frenkie injured.

Casado, Bernal? Uncertainties at start of season.

Big gamble going in with just fermin and pablo torre for that position.

But overall mf situation was thin.

What math is that? Olmo was also great in the Euros, during the season he was shit for the most part.

You're comparing the depth for France with what Spain has. France has how many elite wingers? Of course they start Nico when there is no other option anyway.

Not to mention the fact that at NT level favoritism and chemistry precedes form at club level for many managers.

Olmo wasn't shit during the season. This is an invention that caught steam based on some things that are not real. Olmo has some injury problems that impede him from being very consistent during the season (tends to get injured when in form, and then has to build form again, rinse and repeat), but his quality showed during the season and we won many points because of it.

Yea true, just like we are thin on the wings with only yamal and raphinha and now we are stacked in Midfield.

So again make it make sense, that on one hand, You were for olmo around the same price with similar stats to Williams the season before we signed him, but against Williams.

You not being literally you in this instance lol.

Stop responding to mol, he has no idea what he's talking about

Yeah, Spain have lesser players than France, which is why they beat France in the last years with Spanish wingers dominating French starting wingers, just not Olise, who can't even feature for France. Why? Because Olise does some nice things playing for the one big team in the entire Bundesliga.

If Olise actually proved himself in CL... then yes... but he didn't. Far from it.

Neither have you 😂 😂

What does the stats say

Unlike you who always talk out of your arse,
I have watched him in Europe with Bayern last season, I have watched him a few times at Palace before.
He had always been clutch, super-clever signing by Bayern.
If we didn't have the best RW, I would be mad we missed on him...

Olise was also top at Palace.
