The thing is, Diaz's salary demands are lower.

He earns no more than €4 million gross at Liverpool.

I think he would agree to a salary of €7–8 million gross at Barcelona, which amounts to €3.5–4 million net.

Nico earns €10 million gross at Bilbao. Taking into account the tax rate in Bilbao, that's €5.7 million net.

Barcelona is offering him €12.5 million gross, which equals €6.2 million net considering the taxes in Catalonia.

Summary:

  • Diaz – €7–8 million gross, or €3.5–4 million net.
  • Nico – €12.5 million gross, or €6.2 million net.

Would be very good for depth and slowly to give Raph a good fight for the starting spot particularly since Raph had many games that was bellow par later in the season.

By the way, we need to further analyze how good Niсo is at working without the ball. In the Europa League, he ran an average of 7 km per match. At the same time, Diaz, who plays in a more attacking team, ran an average of 8.8 km per match.

Insane the money Diaz is on, cheap bastards Liverpool are.

He should go to Saudi to secure his families future did generations.

That's what I would do if I were him. He was on very little money at Liverpool - it's amazing they managed to negotiate such a salary with him.

28 years old. I would definitely choose Saudi Arabia.

Seeing my Rafael Leao dream wither away.

yes i know he's a deeply flawed player due to his lack of work rate and mood swings, but i like the player and have the delusional faith he will change at a team like ours

There has only ever been one outcome with respect to Nico, crystal clear he was ALWAYS coming to Barça - everything else has been negotiation ploys

His probably learning from his brother or got advice from him, saying you have to strike while the iron is hot.

His brother could have been playing for a bigger team as well, if he left when his stock was high.
