He doesn't have the mentality or workrate to further his career, he's happy to sit in the stands and collect £300k per week at United hence Chelsea move broke down.
He looks good at a level. Would be in his best interest to stay another season at Leganes imo, even if they are in 2 now.
In regards to us, would rather we spend 5m and loan that Albacete lad.
Also, did you notice Abdul Aziz got called up for Ghana and played their last friendly.

Sign perisic for rotation lw/rw for one season instead of splashing on leao or diaz, our go to are raph and lamine no need to buy starting spot winger because raphinha is clear for 2 seasons at least. Perisic already worked with flick, he's exactly the player for his system.
Sign Perisic, Rashford on loan - small risk might pay off big time. And in one year they are gone, perfect scenario.
Hopefully we sell enough then to reinforce with fb and st. Cb i have no idea who should we go for that wont cost a fortune

Well he delivered in psv this season, and was best player for croatia against france in nations league. One year contract could turn out good for both parties

People are praising Deco for buying GK from Espanyol, while we lost swedish guy to Tottenham and Guler to RM.
If he was not Andy Bara's player he would not come here.
Let's see how good is he on Luiz Diaz deal.
If he signs him for less then 50mil and the next year brings great striker and centre back we can talk.
Also we will see how good is he to convice Ter Stegen out if the club and for what money.

Losing them indicates we actually had a chance.
Both wantes immediate registration in the first team, which was impossible.
The only reason we were even after them and they considered us was Deco.

Deco got pantsed by both Güler & Bergvall, quite visibly - for a club that is meant to swing and not miss, he had two quite embarrassing misses
We didn't have the FFP capacity to close Arda immediately in fairness. Then Perez got his big bollocks and thought he was stealing his revenge for Neymar.
Bergvall says he agreed with Xavi and then took the money deal after Xavi left. We haven't missed out on much at this stage.
We will see the future of both.

Joan is a good sign. Deco reported wanted Diogo Costa but has gone with a more pragmatic option, rather than a more drawn out negotiating. He could have done the latter, let Joan get signed by a Villa and then if the fee was too much, backed out of Diogo leaving us with Stegs/Tek. So that's where the praise is coming from.
Hopefully we got similar options on LW.
Also hopefully he can smash another Faye or two out for the B. For sale or for future.

Only youtube highlights so take it with a grain of salt, but this Garcia guy could be a big signing. I like how quickly he gets up from the ground for his size. Quite quick despite being slightly over 1.9 tall.
I apply 1 - 2 - 0 rule in our case. No matter the money involed, 1 out of 3 signings should be good enough to secure a starter position fast, 2 still useful, and can afford no flops or players who need ample time of adjustment.

Would be over the moon if we could find ourselves a Pacho type signing. I did some short documentation over Pacho because I didn't follow PSG, since Ligue 1 is not something I'm interested in. Very possible PSG found themsleves a serious talent here.
And you can see some signs of impressive mentality and attitude before making the move. The most impressive sign is how little time he spent at a club until drawing attention of a bigger one. That shows a rare ability to quickly get used to a higher level and deliver at that level.
Spent 2 seasons at Independiente. 2020-22 in his young days. Antwerp signed him in 2022. Spent only one full season at Antwerp before he drew attention of a bigger team like Frankfurt in 2023. Btw, Frankfurt in 2021-2022 won Europa League, one of the notable German sides around. Then spent only one season at Franfurt, 2023-24 until an even bigger team got interested in PSG.
That's the type of signing that we need. Someone young and athletic, who can take on extra pressure and can cope with a level of playing that gets higher and higher. From a South American club, to a lower European club, to first serious European Club from a big league, to one of the best clubs around. This Pacho guy smoked through those steps in 3-4 years until starting for the CL winner and doing a superb job.
Surely we can monitor these types of players and pull the trigger on one.
