Haven't followed them closely, but Inter don't seem that impressive based on their results and performances against big teams. I think they're probably around Atletico's level.

Bayern with many players out outplayed them in the last round.

It would be beneficial for us if Inter lost the next two derbies too for the sake of their morale

Going into UCL semis after 3 losses in a row would not be nice and I honestly can see it happening - Roma is in good form now and Milan naturally has something in the pocket when playing Inter

My gut feeling was that Barca reaches the semis but I don't see us getting past Inter. Barca is currently reeling from fatigue (evident in the easy turnovers , poor decision-making & convertion rate) and missing key players. This impedes their ability to be mentally and physically locked in for the entirety to beat a well-drilled team like Inter. Now with RL missing, Barca becomes extremely vulnerable on set-pieces against a more physical and guileful proposition in Bastoni & co. And thats just one aspect of the game.

Additionally, there is this interesting trivia: All first-time CL winners in recent years (Dortmund, Chelsea, Man City) have achieved their victories in a non-capital city (2 of them being in Munich) while Barca has never won a CL outside of capital cities. This only means one thing: This year's CL will be won by either PSG or Arsenal. In which case, I'd rather Barca lose to Inter in semis than lose in the final to either PSG or Arsenal. Just that thought alone is terrifying. :(

You shouldn’t rely on patterns, superstitions or coincidences. Whatever happens happens, just because something happened in the past does not necessarily mean it’ll happen again. We have a chance as much as Inter, they are also struggling with fatigue and a bad bench. So, don’t lose hope and believe until the final whistle blows in Milan.

Thanks! Consider this a guest appearance. It's been a while since we played this well and have strived for a treble. In these scenarios, I'm usually filled with trepidation and scepticism. I went through the same in season 2014/15. So I just had to share my thoughts here.

That’s interesting. Especially In 14/15, where we had the best team in the world?

I can imagine doubting us in Jan, but we basically beat every big team from Jan - June that season.
