I'd like to have Faye here now, because Martin is really terrible. We need to replace Lewa soon, we need a LW/RW backup and we need to sort our LB and RB situation out. Sure Kounde can continues as RB, but he needs a solid backup/rotation - and Balde just isn't good enough for us and Martin sure as hell shouldn't even be on the bench. LB and winger backup should happen already in January (and now we need a goalie as well).

Pepe ran rings around him, every time Pepe got the ball and started running he also couldn't catch up for sh*t. With the high line we're playing opponents will exploit that over and over, our left side is really lacking.

Dude is like a green version of eric garcia.. slow, frail and non-technical.

Sergio Akieme was a better fullback by comparison.

But Martin is good in possession and has a nice cross. It's not enough if he is thrust into a big game, but for most of the league games it's enough. He won't face a guy like Nicolas Pepe often in LaLiga.

Ball is in Forts court now. The lad looks a bit mopey, but if he works his ass off and shows a positive attitude then he can and should be first rotation for both fullback slots.
