Tuchel is a great coach but also has a stubborn nature that creates problems for himself. Plus I fully agree with Birdy, you cannot back a manager in a transfer market and sack him off a month later.

Do I think Xavi is going to be a great manager long-term, no he's too loyal to his ideas. But the club is top of the league for the first time in 800 days and is getting results domestically so he deserves some margin.

See where the club is at when it stops for the farcical World Cup and then re-asses.

Liga competition's shit now and we barely beat Mallorca, not a benchmark for success.

Fully agree and in no time Real Madrid will take the position back from us. With this shit couch we will not get anywhere. He first need to learn a lot and after that he could deserved to be at Barca. The hut is too big for him. Period.

Problem lies elsewhere. He convinced Lewa to come, dembele to stay, Kounde to come, and many other such situations.
If he goes, what happens to all these people?

What happens to them? Kounde has a contract till 2027, Lewa stays, and we're negotiating with Dembele to extend. Xavi was backed to do a rebuild, got most of his wishes granted, and the club was among the highest spenders in Europe. Another season in the EL is a clear failure of the project.

Barca shouldn't stick to mediocrity for the sake of it.

If he's out of the CL, he should be gone. Worst case scenario in the summer.

If we win LL and EL, would you take it?

And what looks to be funny: management worked so hard to get rid off deadwood and we got other back like Alonso, Kessie, Ferran Torres, Eric Garcia…

Agree, he shows great tactical inflexibility

They're good enough players that they'll be useful for other managers imo, players will not care all that much if the decision leads to success.

Guys, we are not a Europa League club.

With players like Lewandowski, Pedri, Dembele, Frenkie, Raphinha, Ansu Fati, Araujo, Kounde, we think it's fine if we play in the Europa League (for a 2nd successive season?)

It's not acceptable if that happens again and will be a really sad mark of decline.

I don't think it's all about results. But at the moment we're lacking at both ends. No plan, poor tactical setup, no flexibility, and poor results in the CL. If he started showing promise in the other half of the season, sure we'd have to reconsider and reevaluate. I don't say we should sack him tomorrow, but he should bear some responsibility.

Can't excuse him completely because he started the project.

We will be if we keep missing chances and crossing and praying.
