Koeman's phrase that led to Messi's decision: "That's the end of the privileges"

According Diario Ol?, Messi left his first meeting with new Barcelona coach Koeman angry and frustrated when the Dutchman told him "that's the end of the privileges", and that as coach of Barcelona he was going to "be inflexible, it's necessary to think of the team."

For Messi, distraught after the thrashing at the hands of Bayern, this was too much - a position he saw as undermining his status as by far the best player in the squad and one he was unwilling to tolerate.

Hold tight and don't bulge an inch. A spine is more valuable than any job in the world.

If you are sacked, then so be it. Then hold a press conference and spill the beans on this so called "captain" who thinks he is bigger than the club.

And on the board who let him do their job and making him take any back clash for them. The same board that hired him a week ago.

He will regret leaving Dutch NT.

Nah, if he gets sacked by the new board I'm sure he can go back. I said two weeks ago that I feel bad for him and the situation he's in. Look at what transpired today. Koeman had no idea what he was getting himself into. Valmierda and Setien are sitting at home with popcorn in their hands laughing at this.
