Bojan is right, Mestre needed to go & Laporta saw an exodus from his board as well but Amor & Segura remain and it simply underscores the continuing & disappointing utter lack of sporting direction at the club. Love Abi but he's been at this job for less than 12 months, combined with Valverde our club is thoroughly shambolic. It's no wonder that there is so much uncertainty coupled with the inexplicable pursuit of Neymar

Gaspart 2.0, brace yourselves

Polo is just repeating what every local media has been reporting since yesterday namely that Mestre resigned due to disagreements with the "sporting direction" (nice joke, jaja) and a recent board meeting where the majority of the board members were present and were most wanted to fire Segura who had the full support of Mestre.

Anyone that willingly supports the work of Segura is better left as far away from any decisions within the club as possible. Even more so after years of neglect that the great Xavi Torres perfectly exposed in Ara not long ago.

If we are lucky Segura will be gone before de Jong's presentation tomorrow. Ojalá.

That's the burning question, sure, bin Segura & Mestre - long overdue but what about the continuity of Valverde? How can that be reconciled in light of the actions taken with respect to those who make sporting decisions as well as the ridiculously poor performance of Ernesto? Boggles the mind

Didn't they want Valverde gone? yet Bartomeu wanted to keep him so he stayed. So Valverde is even more protected now!

He apparently hasn't resigned and wants to stay only if his conditions are met. Bartomeu will make a final decision in a few days.

Segura is strongly against the continuity of Valverde so maybe one of his conditions is to fire Valverde?

Bartomeu thought Segura would resign, but instead the Barça general manager expressed his desire to continue. However, not everyone in the board is happy with how last season ended, and with the continuity of Valverde. [cat radio]

This is a political IMPLOSION. No other word can describe this (at least Segura is gone, thank fuck for that).

Now, Ernie will still come alive from this, I assume.
