You know he's changed dramatically since he left us !?

He's not quiet and shy and humble has he was when he was here ...
But he is a WC player, and with a very cheap price because he is in his last year of contract
If he did not succeed, sell him next season to City or PSG for 100+m

If we do manage to sign a big player this week, I hope that we won't be announcing it anytime soon. The reason being that we are currently dealing with rivals in the Champions League and they may have ambitions of winning the title (even if it's not realistic ambitions, we have no right to judge them on their own goals).

For example, if Liverpool know that we already have Dembele, then they may be even more reluctant to sell Coutinho out of fear of making us too strong. The same goes for Juve and all other teams we are currently trying to strike a deal with.

Regardless of what the fans want, the directors need to be smart about how they manage the situation. We need to keep the cards close to our chest. It's a tricky situation but the least we can do now, is not shoot ourselves in the foot by being morons.

It is difficult to keep big transfers a secret these days but we must find a way. Pay the selling club a little extra if it means that they will agree to not make the deal official until Barcelona announces it.

This is assuming that we sign anyone at all. Perhaps Barto is keeping Paulinho a secret because he doesn't want others knowing yet

tbf he's a big fish in a little pond. at Barca Suarez and Messi are the big fish.

I'd take him over Dybala though

The guy is just f class, just shows how good our board is when we sold him for 30m quid, I mean, get this, Arsenal could probably send him packing to City, PSG or whatever for 80m in his last 12 months, but they still choose to keep him... yet we chose to lay off one of our most efficient transfer (cost/value) in a shameful manner.

The only minus compared to Paolo is his age, he will be 29 by next year, while Dybala is still 23 and is yet to reach his prime.

Not impressed with his last season.. And please no Alexis, just splash money on Dembouz.

Yep I don't want Sanzchez back either he well have a inferiorty complex if he signs with Messi and Suarez still around.. Ousmane is young and hungry to succeed in a good club and could be the foundation of barca's future attack. Yannick Carasco is an averege plus player for me nothing more Defenatly not barca material.

They other teams already realise that we are no longer a major force .

I'd say we now NEED to sign 3 out of the following 4 players to get back to the big boys table .

Couthinho is a must plus 2 out of Dembele / Dybala / Mbappe ..

Alexis want's to be the MAIN man... big fish... he won't accept to be a "third" violin... He wants zillions for the paycheck. I don't want him here to be a new Neymaresque issue... he is good, damn good, but man, better no :/
