Last train for Nolito and Celta. If they don't cash in now, only a great Euro will save them.

Hope the offer from Barca is true, I wouldn't want for us to pay real money for him.

Both Sport and MD saying we won't sign Nolito.

Not a bit surprised by this news since the Deal we offered wasn't very good.

Tell me why? They will get easily Barca to overpay for Nolito right now, no other club will pay them that much, not now, definetliy not in the summer. Yes, they have to wait a cash transfer for 6 months, but money is still money in the summer. So, if they do want to cash in Nolito, it is now. It really comes to that- cash in or not and hope that Nolito will deliver.

Business isn't even my forte but you fail to appreciate even the fundamental basics of how finance works. 2nd richest club in the world trying to cheap it with a small club for their best player is pretty remarkable

You seem to be forgetting Lucho was Celta coach and that we had good relations with Celta anyway. It's not purely about X amount of cash or not. Loaning players in the future, first options, rerurning favors.. This is common thing involved when business is discussed in South Europe.
This is not a stock market.

It's still business at the end, Enrique having been coach there for 1 season doesn't make Vigo a charitable organization to help Barcelona out...That's a bit naive...Deals in football go by market value except when one party has leverage and in this case Celta Vigo hold all the cards with the player and Barcelona having no leverage

It shouldn't have come down to having to hope Celta would relent on Nolito however as the club knew full well Pedro wanted out since last season and did not address winger or promote one from within the cantera...Just terrible planning made worse by a ridiculous offer

Nolito is Celta's most important player and after selling Augusto they weren't in a position to loan him for 6 months for free (A 2 million penalty in summer is not an incentive when his fee is 18 million)..Even a loanee in return is getting less since even Barcelona value Nolito more

It was ill conceived, not sure why Barto et al were convinced Celta would be so stupid or perhaps they thought the player would pressure the club (which he didn't)

Based on the club statutes that were amended, they never had the money to truly acquire a winger of quality in this window without forcing new elections in the summer which would threaten their mandate...It's simply terrible management

If Barca now sign Nolito you will find an angle to call it 'terrible management'. Always the same.

You moan about La Masia players not being given a chance...when they have been you moan about not spending bigger to build a squad.

Even moaned that the signings of Neymar and Suarez were 'Galactico' and against what club stands for...

So nice of him.

We should tell them to convince PSG to sell before contacting us again and wish them luck.
