Fernandinho, in particular, gives them a very different look...It's a massive difference and then you throw in a monster of a player like Kun and I do think they've been unlucky with injuries during this run of matches...Better for us, of course...Especially considering how we're puttering along ourselves of late

They've been shite away from home all season WITH ferndandinho and Aguero so I don't buy all this fernandinho missing talk. Why are people using injury as an excuse for them anyway? You don't spend 400 million + to look clueless against Watford and Norwich after losing just 2 players.
We had by far our best player out for 2 months who is just coming back, our second best player Iniesta (whom at his best is also the 3rd best player in the world) in and out of injury and struggling for form all season, and Neymar- our 3rd best player this season has been out for over a month in total, not to mention our number 1 goalie was out for 6 weeks. That's what you call a significant injury list, for some bizzare reason this is never taken into account when judging us this season.

We need much more imrpovement than only in the defensive compartment in order to surpass City...
Very much to improve in such a short span of time but if the players regain their motivation and plaeasure of playing for such an important CL tie we might just play wonderful and progress to the next phase of the competition. Otherwise we're out..

The key is not to be predictable ; or we'll need luck to go through this round.
We should play at the Etihad with two defensive midfielders, and wingers with a huge work-rate (Alexis and Pedro are the guys for the job).
Xavi shouldn't start this one imo ; We'll need muscle and our tallest players to have a chance on set pieces; Bartra, Busquets, Song and Pique are needed. Same for the wings, Adriano should play instead of Alba.

and we will most probably defeat them on their turf.I ruled out xavi as he is not at his prime now and he hardly gives any risky passes.Iniesta is on form and will most likely take on players and give a good ball.Fabregas also has the vision and passing to spread the ball to the forwards.If only pique and bartra don't make any dumb mistakes we will win.

*Sigh*. I have been thinking about this match at least once a day since the drawings took place...
The funny thing is, I am going to watch this match with a friend, a Citizen (before 2011...)... I'm not saying we're going to lose but it's not going to be easy!
