Umtiti should definitely start this one. Want to see Andre Gomes too, but at the same time Denis has to start after his performance yesterday. Both starting might be a bit too much rotations in midfield.

Not sure if starting Gomes and Denis at the same time would be a good idea. I would still start Rakitic over one of them, and if the game is going well sub them in.

Nonsense. Alves was never appreciated specially by Luis Enrique. He just got fed up. Why would he want to leave when Messi was not only his partner on the pitch, but also his best friend off the pith. Barça did not want to pay Alves what Juventus did.

I doubt it that Juve pays him 8M net per year. Check your facts. Alves is a good guy but he´s full of himself.

Arda is useless

Digne was not at all good defensively, no where near as good as Mathieu. Mathieu is a lot faster, gets where he needs to be on defense more consistently. Like Vidal on the other side, Digne is better on offense than defense. I hope Digne can improve, he is dangerous to play at this time.

Sergi Roberto is no Alves, but he has to be the choice over Vidal. Denis Suarez showed well, looks like the #1 midfielder off the bench. Arda was good, Munir was really good. Overall, the depth is quite a bit better than last year.

Keep Bravo, a big new contract should do the trick. Keep Munir, please. Release Douglas, loan Samper. 22 players, roster is set for the season.
