lmao. It has led the world out of the middle ages. Surely uncontrolled capitalism is bad, but the market economy will always be better than a communist or socialist nanny state. What we need is a balance, a lot of countries are striving for it and some have already succeeded.

Does someone really think socialism/communism is better than capitalism in 2015? :xavi: Not saying capitalism is the best, but surely better than socialism/communism.

Yes I do. Scandinavians seem pretty happy with a bit of socialism last time I checked. Capitalism is easily the worst system out there since it kids people to believe that it is possible to go from having nothing to having the world if you work hard enough which is simply not true. Capitalism is also literally corroding the planet in order to sustain itself and its growth.

Anyway, this is going a bit off topic and that pcture was only a joke. Though maybe I inadvertently told the truth through that joke

Lol, I live in Finland (not Scandinavia tho) but part of the Nordic countries anyway. Finland is the most "socialist" country of all the Nordic ones and even here it's more capitalism than socialism, a mixed economy. Scandinavic/Nordic countries are often misinterpret as socialist countries. We do have capitalism here, not as much as in other countries like USA.

But if we only compare Capitalism, Socialism and Communism. It's Capitalism>Socialism>Communism.

Capitalism is literally eroding the health of the earth, depleting her of its resources, creates conflict at greater frequency than at any time in history, etc. Sure, some people get rich, but the vast majority remain poor laborers with little chance at upward mobility. By and large, the middle ages for people outside of Europe were awesome in comparison.

In any case, seems I'll have to give Qatar airways a try next time I fly.

Nike refused to go anywhere the Man Utd Adidas level though so not sure they will go that high.

Would love it if Nike scaled back a bit on the manufacturing of kits but saw Barca as one of their teams that promote a certain standard and class. Resulting in big money. Hard to know what they think though as they seem to be backing out from the big deals - Man U, Arsenal etc.

They're backing out of club deals because they've signed lucrative sponsorship deals with the NFL and NBA.

PSG are private owned club while Barca is owned by supporters. Entirely different circumstances.

Interesting fact:

The only elite European clubs whose main jersey sponsors are from within Europe are Inter Milan (Pirelli of Italy), Liverpool (Standard & Chartered Bank of the UK), BVB (Evoniks of Germany) and Bayern (Deutsche Tekekom of Germany), all the other clubs have sponsors from either Asia (Barça, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, AC Milan and PSG) or the US (Manchester United, Juventus, Hotspur etc).

Think I'd prefer the company bartomeu said he had a deal with, rakuten. But no word about it so far. Most of barto's meeting have been about espai barça.
