Looks like he was called up after all following Fode Ballo Toure's injury.

The Senegalese Football Federation informs the public that the players, Fodé Ballo Toure and Mamadou Lamine Camara recently summoned for the friendly matches Senegal-Gabon on March 22, 2024 and Senegal-Benin on March 26, 2024 are injured at club and will not be able to honor their summons.

Consequently, Fodé Ballo Touré will be replaced by Mikayil Ngor Faye (FC Barcelona) and Mamadou Lamine Camara by Rassoul Kader Ndiaye (Le havre AC).

Spain U19 starting pivot is also Gerard Hernandez, who we let go in the Summer due to this overbooking.

I like Casado although don't think he has longterm future here but he'll probably become a solid La Liga player in future.

Would def give him minutes ahead of Romeu but ofc with Cubarsi, Yamal and Fort/Guiu also being registered as B team players and having a bigger role in the team already there will be limited chances for other B team players as per La Liga rules there always should be at least 7 first team players on the pitch. So basically we can only play three BA/Juvenil players at the same time or otherwise could risk to lose the game administratively if one of first team players would get injured (with no subs left) or send off.

Not sure about Prim's potential and Bernal is probably 2-3 years away before being ready for the first team. And I would be totally ok if he would go down the more "normal route" rather than being another kid who will be forced to the first team because we have no other options.

We all love Cubarsi and Yamal but should really stop depending on 16/17 yo kids so much if we want to become a "normal" club again.

Casado won't make it here if he doesn't change positions. Way too limited physically without enough talent and football iq to comprnsate for it.
His best hope is the inverted Fullback that Marquez tried him at. Both him and Moha looked decent in it.

Pau Prim is a decent talent, average physically but not limited. As most Barca talents he struggles against superior athletes but it is a bit normal. It depends on his learning curve.

Bernal is a big guy, fairly athletic and talented, but he was an interior through most of his career before coaches deciding he grew too big for it and moved him to pivot, a bit like Nico Gonzalez but the change happened at 15 not 19, so there is a learning curve and he shouldn't be rushed tbh.

Casado is closer to that prior gen level of Monchu, Collado and Jandro who all ended around Segunda or lower tier Liga level.

I like him as a talent actually, but prefer the investment into Bernal. My issue with Casado at Barca, is that he always looks in a rush. And as a Barcelona DMC that is a death sentence. You must be able to create time, or atleast be in control of it when the ball comes to you.

Another one that's War ready, we are stacked.

We should just sell, Araujo and Kounde.

Let the young princes lead us to the promise land.
