Nice finish by the pornstar.

12 goals combined in two games between Levante and Eibar this season and there are still 10 more minutes to play, not bad. :)

madrid 2.1

they spend billions and they have one tactic.. cross as many balls in the box.

something madrid can never claim is good football..spectacle football..last time i was entertained by them was during galacticos.

Huesca are one of those annoying teams who will go out and play a 'we don't care who you are' game against top of the league sides, but fluff it against their direct relegation competitors.

Not that they're similar, but this sort of performance reminded me of the other times we've faced relegation candidates. Fond memories

After Getafe's loss vs Leganes and Valencia's win at Pizjuan there should be an interesting battle for 4th place. With 9 rounds remaining there are still 6 teams with realistic options to finish 4th.

4. Getafe 46
5. Alaves 44
6. Valencia 43
7. Sevilla 43
8. Bilbao 40
9. Betis 40

I think it's most likely between Valencia and Sevilla but could see Getafe staying close until the end. Alaves not so much as they are pretty lucky to be this high on the table so late in the season. Betis is not too convincing and Bilbao could maybe be a darkhorse here as they were still in the relegation zone at the start of this year but have been one of the most in-form teams in 2019. Only Barça (32), RM (27) and AM (25) have won more points than Athletic (24) since January. Basques are playing at Getafe next week so this should be an interesting game.

Three of these teams will probably also qualify for Europa League and Sociedad (37 points) could also have some chances but their form has dropped lately after a good start when Imanol Alguacil took over from Asier Garitano.

Then in relegation zone it also got a lot more complicated after Celta's come-back win against Villarreal.

20. Huesca 22
19. Rayo 24
18. Celta 28
17. Villarreal 29
16. Valladolid 30
15. Levante 32
14. Espanyol 34
13. Girona 34

Leganes and Eibar (both 36) will still need to get some points but I think they are safe.

Rayo and especially Huesca probably don't have much options but then there are 6 teams inside 6 points. I would like Asspanyol to be relegated but probably won't happen. Despite their last loss Villarreal has been in a good form lately so I expect them to stay up though they're also still playing in Europa league which could be a distraction for them. With Aspas returning and morale boost after last win Celta should also stay safe. I would like Girona to stay as well so it's probably among Valladolid and Levante. Valladolid is having big problems to score and you can't win games without scoring so I would give advantage to Levante here.

Why do you guys complain, you are only winning everything ever domestically, such sad times it must be for you.

Envy of 'comeback'/late-win moments is one of the silliest phenomenons I've witnessed Cules display in the past several years.

I've been banging on about this for months. It's really, really cool that the skill gap between bottom and very top has narrowed to this extent. Even Mourinho said it a few months back while still managing United during one of his pressers. Mid-to-lower table resembles the Premier League more than ever before. They have Everton, Leicester, West Ham, Wolves and all else is perennial relegation fodder. La Liga are in fact much better in that regard now. Teams like Alaves and Getafe(4th!) in top8 is unreal. The closest EPL had to that is Burnley last year and probably teams like West Brom when Pardew was still worth a damn ages ago. This doesn't speak just to the likes of Seville and Valencia underachieving. Bilbao and Villarreal were fighting relegation half a season. It's so even in recent memory. There are no grounds teams fear other than Camp Nou (unless you're Seville).

Really cool. Much better than Serie A where bottom 10 is the same old shit on rotation for years and years.

Well, at best it shows that your team possesses determination and doesn't stop fighting to get the winning goal until the whistle is blown, which is something to be admired of. At worst it implies the luck that comes with Zidane, for whatever reason. So what is not to envy?

Personally I don't care about the other teams but I want Getafe to be kicked out of the top 6 by the end of the season.

Great news for Atletico, not so good news for us. Stuani has some muscle problems and will not play tomorrow against Atletico. He scored 4 goals against them in 3 games previously.
