There's 9 La Liga fixtures left for us this season. With the gap to Atleti 10 points we would need to lose 4 of 9 and Atletico win all their games (or lose 3 and draw 1 with Atleti beating us in one of the losses) to go ahead of us. Would be a disaster losing the title from this point.

Villarreal - Barca
Barca - Atleti
Huesca - Barca
Barca - Sociedad
Alaves - Barca
Barca - Levante
Celta - Barca
Barca - Getafe
Eibar - Barca

I've been banging on about this for months. It's really, really cool that the skill gap between bottom and very top has narrowed to this extent. Even Mourinho said it a few months back while still managing United during one of his pressers. Mid-to-lower table resembles the Premier League more than ever before. They have Everton, Leicester, West Ham, Wolves and all else is perennial relegation fodder. La Liga are in fact much better in that regard now. Teams like Alaves and Getafe(4th!) in top8 is unreal. The closest EPL had to that is Burnley last year and probably teams like West Brom when Pardew was still worth a damn ages ago. This doesn't speak just to the likes of Seville and Valencia underachieving. Bilbao and Villarreal were fighting relegation half a season. It's so even in recent memory. There are no grounds teams fear other than Camp Nou (unless you're Seville).

Really cool. Much better than Serie A where bottom 10 is the same old shit on rotation for years and years.

Agreed. I love this La Liga season.

Atletico score but the situation where they got the corner was offside. Weakness of VAR...

How the fuck they can go vs Real vs Ajax 10 min a back but now they can't check if the corner was correct.

VAR confirmed shit.

Griezmann is offside. The VAR shows this. A goal counts. ????
argument is that because the keeper touched the ball, the play got reset?

Now we are going to throw everything to get a win on Saturday against Atletico, only to get even more exhausted when facing Manchester United.

This is life.

We need to perform well vs Atletico. Will boost the morale after today's bad game. I'm all for rotations, but this time, for this game, it's better to get back to winning ways and carry this to Old Trafford.

United aren't something to be scared about. We can get a result there without bringing our A game. Tie will be settled on Camp Nou anyway. Doubt either side gets a big advantage from the game in England. Could very well be similar to the Lyon one, hopefully with better shooting from us this time.
