But the Real Madrid requires from Monaco it to be a final offer, and that the bid is complete and that Real has a right of first buy. Marca writes that Monaco has agreed and has already started negotiations about Mbappe transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu. Mbappe thus became the most expensive footballer in history and far behind it left six years older compatriot Paul Pogba. He broke the record last summer transfer to Manchester United for 105 million euros in damages Juventus.

In addition to 130 million euros in damages, Monaco finds Real Madrids offer attractive because the Madrid is prepared to meet the desire of young attackers and leave him for another season in Monte Carlo. Mbappe thus after a one-year loan at Monaco, Real came in the summer of 2018 as the most expensive footballer in history.

It's Marca lol.

They wrote that Suarez had signed for them too, among several other players.

I dont know about Mbappe, not downplaying his talent or anything, but he could be a one-season wonder for all we know. He plays in the french league, not really a top top league. Maybe he just had "luck" in the champions league this season? He could go on to be a wonderful player ofc, but maybe its best to wait a year, unless someone else tries to grab him.

It's no luck, he's just complete and in the zone. Incredible maturity for someone his age, physically too.

Too bad he likes Madrid.

"Too bad" in what way?

I mean I can appreciate an 18-year-old forward ripping it up in his first year of senior football regardless of where he plays or who he likes.

If you mean in the sense that we won't be able to sign him then I'd have to disagree. Plenty of players have signed for the rivals of clubs they grew up supporting. But, I simply haven't seen much in the way of us being linked to him.

Was he even a Real Madrid fan though? I know he was a big Ronaldo fan, but so are a lot of kids. He had the chance to join Madrid when he was younger, but chose Monaco.
