FC Barcelona to meet Manchester City, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Celtic

CL draw is rigged by all means..... Every time there's a high profile transfer, the player returns to the previous club. More often than not, right in the group stage! We never get a scenario where we play An easy group, Italy's 3rd in the round of 16, Germany's 8th in the quarters, England's 4th in semis and the return leg always at home for example!!

Not true about every time there is a big transfer clubs meet.

Real got and easier draw last year. Actually got quite a tough group.

Year before they got Atleti in QF and put them out. They have drawn BVB multiple times when one of better teams in europe Barca never have.

There is no rigging. What would UEFA have to gain from rigging draw against Barca?

If it is about tough draws then Man City can claim its fixed before anyone else. Which it isnt.

Borussia was drawn in 2013 when the other two options were Barca and Bayern :/.

In 2014 they were decimated with many injuries and some suspensions, lined up players that were new to that level, still almost shagged in Dortmund by Reus but Mkhtaryan was missing those chances in the 2nd half...

In 2013 BVB were arguably a tougher draw than Barca who had injuries.

In 2014 Ronaldo was injured as well and Real had injury problems.

Real for Atletico in quarters couple years ago and before in years before that have got Dortumd and City in the same group then got Man Utd in last 16.

Real have had plenty of tough draws and some easy ones.

There is nothing rigged.

BvB were seen just as dreadful as City in Europe until then, finishing 4th in a group with Arsenal, Marseille and Piraeus in the CL and even failed to qualify from a Europa League Group.

Their uprising took place in Madrid and even then they hardly made it past Malaga, so no way they were seen as stronger than Barca even with Messi injured in Paris.

lol yeah, they played Man Utd when they were runners up, they could've played Bayern, Paris and Juventus and probably marginally missed Schalke who was probably arranged as their draw for the Quarters but no problem, they played the ones who KOed them .

They have had plenty of tough draws. If you want to work at denying it and using some made up 'fixing' theory then go for it.

PSG, Juventus etc were not stronger than Man U when they drew them.

The facts show they have had tough draws along the way as well as some easier fixtures.

You're really naive if you think these draws are 100% legit. Football world is filled with corruption.

This! How many times have we seen this before?

Big player/ manager faces former club the season after he leaves. How about Eto/Ibra back in 09/10. I knew that would happen. I also knew we would draw City this year. There are plenty of other instances involving other clubs too.

Draw is rigged for maximum drama and media coverage.

It will be fun to watch the games against City with Pep :) They will prove to be tough opposition, but if we play our best there will be no doubt.
I would have liked someone else from the pot with Mönchengladbach, they will keep us on our toes - no room for resting players there.
Celtic is also nice, because of the atmosphere, although it would be better with a worse team like Rostov, Legia or Ludogorets.

I dont think I am the naive one who believes those two videos last night show corruption in the draw.

Dont need the strawman argument that I am saying there is not corruption in football. There is corruption in almost every walk of life but that doesnt mean everything is corrupt and these draws are not.

You believe it just as much as the people who shout 'Uefalona' and they also use terms like 'naive to believe no corruption'.

Etoo/Ibrahimovic meeting proves nothing. It happened in the semi final. Why did it not happen before then?

It's funny how the majority of people think FIFA is corrupt, and at the same time when you tell them draws are rigged they defend FIFA, like: "They can't possible do that. It's just a conspiracy".

FIFA is corrupt. The corruption has been to line their own pockets and taking bribes and it has been proven to be corrupt.

Fixing these UEFA draws would be far too risky in asking potentially hundreds of people often ex footballers to go along with it.

Not one of those ever asked to fix those draws have come forward? No one has ever refused and brought the issue up?

If we are going by difficulty of draws then I think Man City have the most legitimate claim to cry 'fix'. What does UEFA gain from giving City a tough draw?

The biggest shout about UEFA corruption in recent years has been this 'UEFALONA' garbage.....football is corrupt so they are probably fair claims by the logic people use.
