Perriera too ? didn't notice that ?

I guess they want to repeat the Mario Zagallo - Perriera combo

anyhow i expect Brazil Midfield in the 2014 WC to be as follow

Maicon-----Juan---------Lucio----------Santos
---------Ze Roberto------Gilberto Silva
=====Kaka-------Ronaldinho------Robinho
=========Adriano--------

With Vagnar Love/Fred/Luis Fabiano etc as a replacement for Adriano

That midfield is still probably better than the one they've been using :lol:

No Neymar? Oscar? Alves, Marcelo, Thiago Silva? Ramires?

Or are my not-so-finely tuned sarcasm weather-vanes not broadcasting the right thing?

I'm starting to like the Brasil lineup if they can get in sync with the old style coaching:

Diego Alves, Jefferson... Goalies

Adriano, Marcelo, Dani Alves, Rafael da Silva, Danilo... Full backs

Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Dede... Centre backs

Oscar, Lucas, Ramires, Kaka, Sandro, Ganso... Midfielders

Neymar, Leandro Damiao, Fred, Hulk, Pato... Forwards

Really nice team on paper, they can use a little improvement in goalie, more depth in defense but are really well rounded in all positions. Can't wait to see them play Spain in Confed Cup next year :)

^I'm a huge Dinho fan and I'd love for him to make a Kaka style comeback to the NT. Speaking to my Brazilian friends they say NO CHANCE. He's too much of a partyer.

Trequartista

The good
Not sure why fernandinho isnt being picked by brazil dude is way more complete than lucas,ramires and paulinho,starting material for me,Willian can be used as a super sub as well

Could you see Ronaldinho making the 2014 World Cup?

He rescued his season and possibly his career when he moved to Atl. Mineiro. Depends if he maintains his discipline as he's stated his desire to make the 2014 squad.

Maybe with Ganso falling out of favor he could assume that central midfield role and be the playmaker. As long as he stays away from the Samba girls and nightlcubs, those are like his kryptonite.

Weird to call Luis Fabiano and Julio Cesar again. I hoe he keeps Diego Alves as the gk. And where's Thiago Silva? Is he injured? Because if not, this makes no sense.

I'm glad that Ronaldinho got called up again he deserves it. For sure this will be his last chance to impress, but I think he's serious this time. Where is Thiago Silva and Dede? Also why didn't he go after the likes of Santos's goalkeeper? Oh and Dani Alves shouldn't be there either IMO:wave:

And of course we're missing Kaka also, but I could really care less about him
