Alexis Sanchez

This might be the dumbest rumour I've read so far this season.

Why tf would Sevilla, a direct league rival, let us take over LDJ's rights so we can swap him for Sanchez and benefit our team?

We don't own LDJ and he is a player on loan. If Inter want him they can do business directly with Sevilla.

Secondly, Alexis has a wage which totally unaffordable for us even if they cover some.

Sevilla have given us free hands to offload LDJ wherever we want. They don't want anything to do with him until summer when he'll return to them.

 | Inter & Barcelona have agreed a swap-deal in principle between Alexis Sanchez & Luuk de Jong.

[@sport]

Why would Inter agree to pay his salary?

Because they believe Luuk would do better as a back-up for Dzeko.

Sanchez is 1.68, Luuk is 1.88. That's 20cm difference. For a conservative team like Inter, 20cm difference as a CF is a lot.

Come on man, you aren't thst naive, aren't you?

How is that naive? If both team what to get rid of a player, then the swap is done. No extra cost for anybody. Same cost, just players who change hands. If anything, Alexis would do better at Barca, and De Jong would do better at Inter.

Swap makes sense for both teams even without any extra cost for either party.

Usually swap deals aren't 6 month loan deals.

Anyway, I don't think Luuk is better than Alexis even if he is 20cm taller. In 2312 Serie A minutes for Inter Sanchez has racked up 31ga. Decent for a finished player.

Dude, the whole operation is about Inter saving money.
They have been well run team past couple of years and are in financial trouble.
You think they really want Luuk? No one at that level wants him. They only see the financial gain

Come on man

World doesn't work that way.

There's a reason inter demanded extra money on top of the Zlatan, Eto'o swap
