I mean, maybe Bayern will offer less but it could be considered competitive.

That and Rabiot might have more opportunities to be a starter at Bayern than at Barca, especially if Barca bring in FDJ.

Sounds too good to be true to me. Why would Bayern be so desperate to get him this month? Bayern is still stacked with midfielders and they really don't need him in my opinion.

And if Rabiot thinks he will have guaranteed playing time there, best of luck.

All I can say is, let's do it Bayern! Auf gehts!

Bayern can have all the agreements they want with PSG but if they don't pay Rabiot 10m signing-on bonus in addition to 10m annually, then he wont come. There is no way in hell Rabiot will lower his demands.

This !

Rabiot does want his money and he doesn't care at all if PSG dont get anything.

Either Bayern show the money or they will fail.

As someone who follows PSG: Could you tell us what you think Rabiot ideal position is? Is it as a DM, the controlling midfielder, advanced midfielder or? My concern with him is that I dont think he is good in the final third.

Imagine bartos face if psg can pull off this and get de jong:lol:

Barto is a man of action and has killers at his disposal.

Nasser better watch himself, otherwise Barto might have to send 'The Problem Solver' to pay Nasser a little visit.

Nasser doesn't want this guy showing up at his front door.

His natural qualities are better as a DM.
He is better at anything about defending than attacking.

Hé is no Verratti but he doesn't lose the ball often, even when pressured.

His big problem is he is lazy. Will say it is too hot or too cold for an excuse not to put in efforts.

He touches the ball too much. Doesn't pass fast enough to my liking.

He is decent at heading the ball, his shooting technique is average (doesn't score much from long shot).

So imo, the further back he is, the better since he is very good at positioning, defending, not losing the ball and terrible at tracking back lol.

Also, he rarely does key passes. Better to pair him with a guy that is good at it.

Rabiot mostly plays short passes.

He likes going forward though. He used to have a very good relationship onfield with Neymar. They were doing a lot of 1-2 passes to put one another in good position for the final shot or pass. So you should pair him with someone that is good technically and like to do that.

I'll be honest with you.

I dont think Rabiot will succeed in Barcelona.

His attributes should make him play the Busquets role but he doesn't have that kind of pass that can break the lines and bypass the pressing.

His qualities would put him between Busquets and Xavi places. But he lacks that little something to be exceptionnal enough for any of those places.
He is not a specialist. Hé is kinda good in everything but great in nothing.
Still, this is a good market opportunity.

He would be best in Premier League where there is more space.

Btw, Tuchel is unhapppy with the lack of midfielder.

He said today he is ready to use Rabiot after winter market if the club direction allows it.

So, it would be good for Barcelona if that were to happen.

Aren't you guys about to sign Weigl from Dortmund?

No, it won't.

Doesn't seem to happen at all.

Fake reports are saying it.

Reliable reports have always said Dortmund is opposed to his departure. They loaned Rode and got one guy injured i think.
Weigl supposed to cover midfield and defence.

We have been trying for Allan but he is too expensive.

I see. I still see you guys signing someone for the midfield. Can't see Tuchle rely on Rabiot knowing his mood changes.

Tuchel has been putting a lot of pressure in press conference to get 2 midfield right now.

There are rumors that he might even bypass the sporting director and ask the guys from Qatar to buy directly, as he did with Kehrer.

As of now, Tuchel has more power than Henrique in the club. If the latter fails in this second window to bring one midfielder, he might be out.
Tuchel is starting to get fed up.
