A major rehaul is needed. 14-0 or so against PSG, Juve, Liverpool is no coincidence. What's worse, we don't even play nice football.
Senior players have been great and I am thankful but it's obvious they are mentally drained.
Keep Messi and everyone else who is 30+ can go. Build around Stegen at goal, de Ligt at the back, de Jong in midfield.
Sorry to say Catalans disappointed heavily. Pique, Alba, Busi are mentally weak. Guess Messi is too but he's too damn good even if he walks.
We can't carry around more guys who can't run and can't motivate themselves.

If thats the truth we are fucked. But i don't think Messi is THAT unprofessional. If a good coach would bench Suarez and we play good and win, do you think Messi would try to get the coach sacked?
What if the coach would even push for selling Suarez? Would Messi just say no and Barto will follow? What if the board comes to the conclusion Suarez is a weak link? Will Messi tell them to keep his friend as a starter?
If that's the case we should just fire Valverde and let Messi do itBut i hope that's not the truth. Messi is the best player ever, but he is still just a player.
It's not easy. Suarez and Messi are best friends, their wifes are also best buddies. Their children goes to the same school and play together. They even go on Holiday together.
Im not making this up, Luis Enrique confirmed it after he dropped Pique he had problems with Messi and the Squad
Just face the truth, Suarez will be Nr.1 next Season and will be undroppable. We just have to make sure he runs and not camps in the last 3rd.

Messi as good as he is, is masking too many problems, and also the lack of competition from the Spanish teams is worrying. The level of competitiveness isn't there and made us think we are top in Europe. Games like the 5-1 win over Madrid made most giddy with joy, glorifying it as if this isnt a weak Madrid side. As I have likened it before to a "poisoned chalice", we always need a good wake up call before change starts to happen. Worse, nothing changed from last season, and I fear even this game would still not instigate a massive overhaul.

I think he means that Barça is losing the fear factor which it had earned over years of European success and that affects how other teams approach matches against us.
I doubt it will happen any time soon.
