Barca Transfers and Rumors

Brazil are not what they used to be. They rely heavily on the counter attack with players like Paulinho just there to break up play. That won't work at barca and I hope that's not what valverde is planning. We only want technical and creative midfielders

You'll be in shock in Russia 2018. Brazil, the No 1 ranked team in the world, is the first one and only one, so far, to have qualified for Russia 2018.

The European eliminations favor the stronger teams by grouping one or two powerhouses against two or more weaker teams. Therefore, most of the stronger teams make it to world cup. The South American eliminations is everyone against everyone, twice. There are 10 nations and 18 games. The first four make it straight to the world cup. There are no groups that favor the stronger nations. In other words, you better be ready with a good plan and good coaching. For example, Argentina is the third ranked team in the world and in 5th place right now.

People say playing against Colombia, Ecuador and/or Bolivia is easy. Has any European team played in the heat of 105 degrees F in Barranquilla? Or what about the altitude in Quito or La Paz? La Paz has an altitude of 3,000+ meters! Most players not used to it, get altitude sickness.

Playing against Uruguay and Paraguay in Montevideo or Asunción takes its toll. These midfielders are tough when they play for their national teams. You are lucky to get out of there alive!

Argentina and Brazil are the best of friends, but not on the football pitch. Every game is worse than Real vs Barça. If we make it through the eliminations or the test of fire, we are in good shape for the world cup.

lol so many bias. Quality wise Europe still holds the candle and it will continue to do so.

Busquets is still quality and he's quicker than people think. His positioning is brilliant so he doesn't need to be very quick. I'm fairly sure hes as quick if not quicker than casemeiro, kroos, koke, matic or kante

Busquets is dreadfully slow, one of the slowest in La Liga. Saying otherwise just makes you look like you've never watched a Barca game in your life.

All the top teams have taken advantage of Busquets speed, all of them. They counter attack and blow by him, with him being the last player before defense and often getting caught pushing too far forward and not having the pace to get back in time, leaving our defense caught with their pants down. Fantastic player, but speed is his weakness and every top club we play knows it.

Yeah, right! How many European teams make it to world cup? ~ 13 to 14. How many South American teams make it? 4 - 5? How many European teams have won the world cup besides Germany, lately? Two! France and Spain. In spite of having a 3 - 1 advantage over South American in teams, European teams have won the WC as many times as South American ones. I see what you mean. BTW. Where is the Queen of Holland from?:goodpost:
