Barca Transfers and Rumors

I think our biggest problem right now is to get rid of a lot our midfielders and d guy that called him Gerard delofeu and bring in guys like Seri, dembele, coutinho and promote lee . I just think lee need to learn frm the big boys just like Asensio. let's not forget our midfielders are not classy as b4. Sergio Busquets is very slow he can't track back and win the ball , uncle iniesta can not pull the strings anymore and he can't mark , mr Rakitic always like to pass the ball backwards and lack creativity unlike b4. let give the young ones chance and blend them with coutinho, dembele and seri for the future.

Busquets is still quality and he's quicker than people think. His positioning is brilliant so he doesn't need to be very quick. I'm fairly sure hes as quick if not quicker than casemeiro, kroos, koke, matic or kante

As I said before, I know nothing about Paulinho or what position he plays. I will reserve my judgement after watching him play for us. However, I do not understand this animus against the player.

Paulinho is a member of the Brazilian National Team. There are 200 million people in Brazil and over one million registered professional soccer players. Out of those 1 million only 23 or so make the National team. From where I'm sitting, Paulinho must be pretty good because there might be hundreds of players more than willing and eager to take his place.

I know. Politics? After the debacle of 7-0 against Germany, this Brazilian team has taken things very seriously. They are rated No 1 in the world!

I know. England, London, and Tottenham. Does anyone have any idea what happen? I know that Mascherano's wife threaten to go back to Argentina if he did not leave Liverpool. England is not the easiest of places for South Americans

we will fuck it up and he'll end up at Madrid.

Di Maria, Paulinho and Coutinho.. think about it

Paulinho is 40m
Di Maria will be 50-60m
Coutinho around 120m+30m addons
220m this summer

we won't be able to sell anyone like Arda, Gomes etc we are stuck with the shit ones we'll end up losing Roberto and Samper

Di Maria is not coming nor are we willing to pay PSG any money for any player. Why are we going to get them off the hook from paying taxes to the French Government.

Renato Augusto is also a starter for Brazil in midfield. He plays in China as well. It doesnt mean that these players are the best Brazil have. They are favorites of the coach from his days in Corinthians. And if you look at the midfielders they are playing against, its Bolivian, Peruvian, Colombian and Uruguayan midfielders who are nothing special and rarely play together. Very different than club football.

You do not know that for certain. You are guessing. BTW, the South American eliminations are the toughest in the world. The European ones, are stroll in the park compared to the South Americans ones. Has your team played against the Uruguayan or Colombian midfielders? I guess not judging by your comments.

Dont know what for certain? You think Renato Augusto and Paulinho are the best Brazilian midfielders having played in China for years? SA eliminations are the toughest in the world? What does that got to do with anything? Its very different playing against Uruguayan and Bolivian midfielders from the Mexican and Ecuadorian league who join up every 2 or 3 months, than to play competitively in La Liga and the CL.

Brazil are not what they used to be. They rely heavily on the counter attack with players like Paulinho just there to break up play. That won't work at barca and I hope that's not what valverde is planning. We only want technical and creative midfielders

Our team downhill part 2: Players we sold for less than the 40 million we just payed for Paulinho: Thiago (25 million), Pedro (27 million), Fabregas (33 million), Alves (free transfer), players that we sold for 100 million less than we're going to end up paying for Dembele: Alexis Sanchez (42 million). Does the current team have a better midfielder than Thiago or Cesc? a better wing player than Pedro or Alexis? A better Right back than Alves? Here's a different way to look at it: we made 58 million selling Cesc and Thiago and spent 123 millions on Paulinho, Andre Gomes, Song and Rakitic trying to replace them. We let Alves go for free and we've spent 60 millions on Semedo, Aleix Vidal and Douglas trying to replace him . Almost 200 million euros spent on positions we had more than covered with players that could be starting 11 material today. What's worse is that Signing Paulinho could make Sergi Roberto, who's release clause just so happens to be valued at the same amount of money we payed for Paulinho, accept an offer from the EPL.

And you didnt even mention Vermaelen, Arda Turan, Vidal and Paco!

Its like a constant flush of millions of euros down the toilet.

Lol what??? Never heard of England, France, Spain, Italy and further behind atm Holland?

The European eliminations favor the stronger teams by grouping one or two powerhouses against two or more weaker teams. Therefore, most of the stronger teams make it to world cup. The South American eliminations is everyone against everyone, twice. There are 10 nations and 18 games. The first four make it straight to the world cup. There are no groups that favor the stronger nations. In other words, you better be ready with a good plan and good coaching. For example, Argentina is the third ranked team in the world and in 5th place right now.

People say playing against Colombia, Ecuador and/or Bolivia is easy. Has any European team played in the heat of 105 degrees F in Barranquilla? Or what about the altitude in Quito or La Paz? La Paz has an altitude of 3,000+ meters! Most players not used to it, get altitude sickness.

Playing against Uruguay and Paraguay in Montevideo or Asunción takes its toll. These midfielders are tough when they play for their national teams. You are lucky to get out of there alive!

Argentina and Brazil are the best of friends, but not on the football pitch. Every game is worse than Real vs Barça. If we make it through the eliminations or the test of fire, we are in good shape for the world cup.
