Xavi presses better but Dani plays for Spain and has a connection with the Barça teammates that was the safer bet…even though Simons played with them at Barça as well. IIRC, Simons was priced out or the timing was off but for whatever reason Olmo quickly became the main target between the pair
I like Dani and yes it would be better if he were less injured but even healthy his inconsistency is frustrating
